I bought this just to replace my older camera so i can use the arlo solar panels instead of replacing batteries every week. The quality of video is good. Only thing is the connection issues every now and then. These are also quite pricey but i already have the arlo system soo....

The system generally works well, but the live view function doesn't work from laptops if you have a web content filter, and the camera response time to start recording when triggered seems to be a little slow. I am hopeful that Arlo (Netgear) will improve these features soon with a a software update.

the camera works great and it display a very clear image. the batteries need to be charged nearly once a week.

Excellent video quality. I design commercial security systems and the quality of this is as good as some of the commercial systems I have seen. Took roughly an hour to setup from unboxing the equipment to loading the app and running updates on each camera and mounting. Setup on July 4th and just had to recharge the most active camera 25 days later with still 15% capacity left. Would recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality home video security system.

Battery usage is high. I have to charge it almost every week. Motion detection seems to have some issues, the cameras I have won't detect a person unless he's within 10ft radius or less.Other than that you get 7day free recordings.

Pain to keep charging. Hate that you have to pay for service and the motion is always going off with trees moving... if I adjust lower than it won’t get movement in distance up my driveway... also HATE how it doesn’t record long enough.

I upgraded from the original Arlo cameras to these Pro 2s. Huge step UP! Easy to connect, solid picture quality, great 2 way radio, and don't have to pay a monthly fee! Great set up. One star gone because sometimes it takes a bit of time to start streaming realtime video.

Purchased about 3.5 weeks ago. Outside installation was easy and it was a painless set up with the wireless connection & Arlo app. Great picture and sound quality. We could hear the snow crunching underfoot when we reviewed the recording. There is about a 3-5 second delay from when motion is detected and the app alerts you. I love that recordings are available for 7 days without having to pay extra. Overall, we are very pleased with the Arlo system!

Easy to use and set up the camera system. We can activate it with our cell phone or computer. Happy with the system.

As usual for a Netgear product this was very easy to set up. Video is awesome and extra features I’m still setting up.

Arlo setup is quick and easy to use. No issues thus far. Good image quality. Serves its purpose for me.

Purchased the Arlo Pro 2 four camera pack. PROS: Easy setup with no problems and 1040p resolution is excellent. Android app is nice with a short learning curve. CONS: Audio Speaker on cameras is weak and cannot set up siren to auto activate unless you pay to unlock that feature. All manuals are online and need to download them which is ok. Al in all, a very nice and easy to use security system that you can expand as you go and also connect to Alexa or Google.

Great wireless camera system. Would have gave it a 5 Star but not until netgear workout the upgrade for the iPhones

The cameras work great. I wish they would record without sending notification to my phone every time. (we have a lot of birds who want to be on camera) Because of this, I can't turn them on at night because the notifications keep me up all night. But all in all they have a great picture.

We purchased the ARlo pro camera wireless and love it - pictures are great and it is easy to use!

I bought this system at Bestbuy and overall it isn't worth the high price. This my second unit as the first one was returned after it stopped working after 6 months. A Bestbuy Geek came out and couldn't get it working. The algorithms for it to record motion suck! Every slight motion of a blade of grass moving in the slightest breeze alert the system to record a clip. It also seems to alert on shadow movement from the sun moving across the sky. It also alerts to small flies flying through the field of view, even from many feet away. I have tried changing camera sensitivity lower, even to zero which sometimes helps, but I still get hundreds of alerts and clips. Also, within days the sensitivity settings mysteriously revert to 80% and I again get thousands of alerts and clips to delete. I have tried repositioning the cameras as well to no avail. It has become "the boy crying wolf." I get thousands of clips recorded every week that take hours to delete. If something did happen on my property it would likely take days to find the clip with the offending action I'm looking for. While video and sound quality are excellent I would not buy this product again and will be returning this unit and getting a different system because the software and algorithms are useless. But hey, if you want to spend hours deleting clips or spend days looking for the clip that shows the intruder breaking in, by all means waste your money.

I really wanted to like this product. Judging by the reviews I really expected more. I think the only positive for this is the ease of installation. Took me less than an hour to set the four cameras up in the areas I wanted to monitor. At this price point I would expect to have crystal clear video. I don't. If you zoom in you can barely make out any details at all. I would also expect to be able to use the two way audio. That's my biggest issue. It was a major point for me and now it's useless. It works fine if I'm in the home on the same network, barely. It fails when i am outside of my home network. From what I have gathered this is an onlyan issue for users that have Tmobile plans. There is a way around it by downloading a vpn on your phone. I'm sorry but i should not have to download third party apps to get a product to work.
