Arlo’s are great when they work. After owning them for about a year, once camera went “red” apparently a common issue. Battery life sucks compared to other brands. I pay for the upgraded service and it’s pretty much a waste compared to my Canary cameras. I do not recommend these if you live in high traffic area.

This unit is very easy to use and set up. Don't forget to limit the vision field otherwise you will get every car driving by and it will waste your battery with all of the alerts. Very happy with this product.

These cameras have been great additions to our home security systems. Picture quality is great with the 1080p version. Magnets are great for mounting outside. Easy to control with cell phone.

Good camera , worth to have, feel safe and you can make sure home safe. We are happy with the product.

This is a good start up system for the do it yourself, It maybe a little expensive, but easy to install.

The Arlo security system works as advertised very simple to set up and use . I would recommend to have power connected to the cameras so you won’t have to charge the battery every so often.

The batteries don’t last very long if you put in high traffic area, even with sensitivity turned down.

Able to speak thru our cameras and take clips. Has good clear pictures and good sensors to pick up distance.

Overall like the cameras and system. I would like it even more if the motion detection range was extended.

I bought this to set up around my mother's house in another country so that we can monitor it when no one is there. Works perfectly, easy to install you can connect up to 5 cameras without having to pay extra fees to Arlo. I also bought 3 other cameras after I realized how well this worked. the fact that it is wireless made me chose it as I didn't want to have to run a new set of wires all over the house if it was not a good purchase. I get notifications to my phone whenever movement is detected and i could sound the alarm when I feel someone is where they should not be. you can also talk through the camera via your phone as the camera has a speaker on it.

This 6 camera bundle is great. It was an easy install, software updated on it's own and boom we have our cameras up and running. Yes there is some time lapse between video feed and live motion but it's still does the job

I bought these based on recommendation from friend. I am happy with the way these have performed. Clear picture and sound and does all basic functions.

I don’t know why I didn’t purchase these sooner! They are great quality and the battery has lasted a while already! I love the two way talking feature. I can now keep an eye on my kids when I’m at work.

I picked this up during the Black Friday sale and it looks like it is continuing to be on sale for Cyber Monday. After buying a cheap third party brand camera system off of Ebay that took days to setup since it was wired which eventually not worked as advertised, we were looking for other options. I saw the great reviews for this and pulled the trigger. All I can say is that set up was a breeze! It took less than 30 minutes to set up the base station and the cameras to sync. The only intense part was of course setting up the mounts for the camera and that was not bad itself. The camera quality is great and the app is so user friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone that is interested in home security.

Love the arlo 2. A little hard to activate or deactivate but overall works well. Can't set up zone because I have a small area to work with. My son hates them cause he can't sneak his friends in anymore. Lol.

I wrestled with getting security cameras for a while. I didn't want to have to pay a subscription fee to access my own recordings. There is no subscription needed for Arlo, though some are available. I like that I can download video that I may need to external storage on the main hub. Arlo keeps videos for 7 days on the free plan, but this ability is what sold me on the product.

Had high hopes based upon Arlo website & spec's, but equipment is lacking in several areas. Infrared night performance is non-existent - you must have the area fully lit to realize any sort of view-able content. Not at all as depicted in examples on Arlo's site. The cameras have a very broad horizontal view, so expect to get quite a few false hits from any movement outside of your desired target. There is an activation zone feature that will help eliminate this problem, however, it requires a subscription to activate. The provided magnetic mounts aren't much use. The magnetic is so strong that you really can't get that slight adjustment you want to make - its going to go where it wants to. Lastly, quality customer support could possibly help address these concerns, but expected to be transferred half-way around the world, given a case number, then left hanging with no effective response provided. If I had it to do-over, would seek out a different option.
