Easy to set up, exceptional picture and sound.....

I previously had 3 Arlo HD cameras. They lacked responsiveness to motion. In an enclosed porch, recording usually started as people were leaving. Arlo Pro captures the slightest motion immediately. The microphone also enables recording based on noise, so my front door camera often is recording as soon as a car door closes and ensures the person coming to the door is recorded. Battery life is reasonable but the current recharging options are atrocious. I don't know why Netgear didn't include a micro-USB port directly on the battery. Until the charging cradle becomes available, you have to pull the camera down to recharge the battery. Netgear also changed designs so the camera does not need to be removed from its mount to change the battery pack. So, once the external charging options are available, battery changes will be super quick and won't require re-aligning the camera.

The video is great but the battery only last a few days and there is a spot light that constantly comes on so I had to relocate so it’s hard to reach since now it’s easy to spot at night.

The system has lived up to all expectations and with the help of our son was easy to set up as he has one also. It has detected "critters' night or day and the motion replays were very good. It is easy to operate and the ability to see what is going on at all times around the property via iPhone or computer is wonderful.

This product is a good deal and would recommend it to friend's and family.

I bought this because I wanted to be able to see what was going on at home when I was traveling for work and to be able to tell when the kids got home from school. It is easy to set-up and use. My only real complaint is you need to pay the mouthing fee for their membership to be able to adjust areas where motion is sensed. I have one that is in front that faces the driveway and it senses movement every time a car drives by. Because of that I do not have notifications set for that camera as it goes off so many times during the day. Also, there have been times where my son has backed his care into the garage and it did not pick him up. Overall though, for the price, it is a good value and we are happy with the purchase.

Arlo pro is adequate - it's still not the best because the night vision is not that clear - the audio sound is very low - and there is not that user friendly to someone like me who is not tech savvy. I'd recommend this product to a friend because it's wireless and easy to install. I think the next generation of Arlo will be better if you are able to wait !

Pros: Easy to set-up - I found the directions helpful. Having the security camera with night vision and alerts has given me peace of mind as I'm away from home. Also helps me keep an eye out on my pets. Cons: Easy for someone to spot the camera. Pricey. Bottom-line: For me, peace of mind is priceless so the camera is worth it!

Great cameras, easy set up and work as advertised!

Easy to use and to set up. Because it is battery operated it is easier to use near areas with outlets to be able to recharge battery. App also very easy to set up and use.

The Arlo - Pro Indoor/Outdoor HD Wire-Free Security Camera system is the perfect surveillance system for our household.

Additional camera and base station. Surprisingly, the range for the base station limits the effectiveness. Spotty/slow response on farthest camera from base station. Limited out the cameras and added base station to resolve the distance issue. 5 cameras, 2 base stations in 3000 square ft 2 story home.

I used to have the D-Link camera and got sick of how poor the feed was... This system is exactly what I was looking for.

This camera was really easy to setup and works great!

Truely wireless security camera. Working great after a couple of weeks. Only concern is if you use the magnetic mounts you must install high enough to keep someone from reaching up and stealing them. Other option is to purchase additional outdoor mounting bracket. Pricey and only 720instead of 1080 but working great so far.
