I spent 800 totally for 4 cameras Arlo. It still works but almost every day something happens. Yes Neatgear was a first with such kind of home cameras. But software quality and subscription killed any reason to deal with this products. Today you may buy Wyze for 20 bucks, Reolink for 40. Or 140 for Eufy almost Arlo clone but way better. 1. Arlo experiences often server/connection problems, this is annoying. 2. Camera connection for live view takes too much time. 3. Local storage of event lagging if you use USB (until you not remove it). 4. Overall picture quality is poor because of FRame Per Second because if you look to usual video on YouTube with 1080 you should know that it’s 60fps instead of Arlo’s 15. So at night or in dark premises picture quality will be poor. 5. Battery life also poor, so better to connect them to AC. 6. 3 seconds of even pre recorded good feature but works only for powered up camera. 7. Subscription fee for unstable server work or some problems on Arlo’s side. 8. 24/7 continues record for cloud only and for fee only. I have another cameras and below is suggestion re them against Arlo’s problem: 1. Eufy cameras 2. Eufy connects right away, literally one or two seconds 3. Eufy local storage 4. Most of cameras are the same even 4 or 5MP and some 4K. Do not allow fool yourself do not believe resolution numbers also always check FPS. In low light Wyze even worse. 5. Eufy one year advertise 6. All cameras are the same 7. Wyze and Eufy give ability to keep video on your side without fee and more stable. 8. Any camera with SD card has that option. Result from my personal experience I may not suggest this or any other Arlo product. After spending so much for Arlo’s products almost all their customers faced problems and finally become an experts in cameras. Check Arlo Kudos website first. Upside it’s makes me deep research for another companies and I found better products.

I liked the cameras until it got cold outside and one out of 4 cameras told me my camera was too cold to function. all 4 are outside but apparently only 1 found it too cold to work. Its a flaw I find unreliable about this camera. not good.

I had the Geek Squad come out to install the system but he said the system was wrong for my house. My freinds love theirs but I guess my house is larger and the base station wouldn't be able to receive all the camera feeds.

The 720 cameras aren't bad, will upgrade to the 1040 in the future.

We love not having a monthly fee. These cameras were easy to install

I would highly recommend the arlo pro very versatile and you can put them any where!!!!

There are many options when using this camera and for notifications.

These are great for inside as the quality (720p) is not adequate when you place these outside for large coverage of area. Also the audio is not very transferable to the unit, as you have to practically yell into your phone.

These are great little cameras and they are magnetic so you can adjust to your liking
