I did get some false readings and had to remove or adjust cameras appropriately. Battery life is not as long it In the rechargeables as it is in the disposables.

Wireless Convenience But Depends On Batteries

However, in my application, where I am using them to monitor activity in a remote location, their reliance on properly charged batteries represents a potential challenge. It is unclear from the installation instructions whether the cameras send their battery status to the app being used to monitor them. In my case, even if they do broadcast that information, the remote location I am attempting to monitor makes timely battery maintenance or replacement unlikely. I simply cannot take a chance that the cameras will fail due to inadequate battery power.
