    I really liked the idea and convenience of the wireless camera system , sadly I had to return it due to some glitches in missing footage

    I had the original which I enjoyed, the only thing that was nice they added was the audio portion but its not clear and the system and camera are buggy.

    Very easy to setup and you can place anywhere. the problem is most of times it starts recording too late and miss an event. Sometime not recorded at all.

    Cameras have a bad lag that wouldnt adjust the app was slow and camera recorded after we walked passed never caught us on camera

    Magnetic mount won't hold camera up. Arlo still has not supplied a mount that will not sag camera over time

    Spent nearly $1k on this system & it hardly works. Always requires an update, but never updates. Because of this I can't use the live feature.

    Battery runs low quickly. You have to constantly recharge. What good is it if you are constantly recharging??

    I bought this item less than 1 month ago, and the base is not working anymore. went back to BestBuy to return it, but by customer service I was told that since I'm not an Elite Member, the 30 day return policy didn't apply to me, only 15 days. So I had to talk to Arlo, and now the base it's on its way to be replaced. been 2 weeks without my cameras. just hope the new unit last a little longer.

    These cameras have very poor battery life and do not hold charge as advertised . Owned this set for about a year now but 3 months into use, I kept getting warnings that battery was low - charging would only hold for a month or 2 and would get the same issue. Not to mention that issue was on multiple cameras in the set that I purchased. I contacted Arlo about this and they stated that they would be sending me a new battery to test out on one of my Arlo cameras; it’s been almost 4 months and am still waiting for that battery to test. I would not recommend using this; other brands have more reliable batteries. It was a nice concept to have it battery powered but they need to get more reliable batteries given the amount customers spend for this whole set.

    This stuff is the most unreliable product I have ever used and an utter waste of money. Netgear should be ashamed of themselves to put this product to market with not even basic testing. The battery charge retention is inconsistent. Sometime it drops from full charge to low battery in a day or two after it has recorded less than 5 motions. The cameras frequently gets disconnected from base station and it will not automatically re-connect. I couldn't find anywhere Arlo mentioning how to reconnect it. The only way I could figure out is to bring the camera inside and plug it in for charge for sometime and then it magically reconnects. Imagine doing that for four security cameras every now and then. Save money and buy some fake security camera look alike as this one also does only as good.

    We purchased the 4 camera set and placed 2 camera inside and 2 outside. They work amazing well. I haven't figured out the scheduling part yet. It sends a notification whenever it detects motion. This works great. The only downside we have is,it picks up our dogs running through the house when we are gone. So we get lots emails for that. We love the system.

    Struggling dealing with Netgear tech support. I've followed the steps provided by support remove and resync the camera. That did not help overly sensitive camera at all. Simply remove and resync the camera will not change the poorly designed camera and the engineering is worse than a $30 motion detector. So far what I learned is the support rushing through to close the ticket without a solution. The major concerns: - wind blows triggers Sound alert (level sets to “1” which is the lowest) - the camera detected the tree leaves motion - due to the excessive false alarms maintaining battery power becomes a high maintenance task Tech support's responded: I would suggest you change the location of the camera for it not be facing an area where there is direct strong wind.

    I am having trouble with the motion and audio. Even though I turn the camera's off the camera will still record activity in the off mode.
