System sets up easily. I have had an issue with one is the cameras losing connectivity.

Good system. Only the motion sensor is crappie. If you run across the camera it doesn't detect it as motion.

The clarity and sound could be a lot better than what it is for the price of these cameras.

They are cool in theory, but they just don’t live up to the idea of wireless security cameras.

This was a good buy on the cameras, easy to hook up, wish the batteries lasted longer.

The literature indicates the cameras will detect up to 23 feet away but the cameras I had seemed to detect only about 10 feet away with the sensitivity at maximum, I was disappointed as people had to be very close to the house for it to detect them. I ended up returning the arlo and buying a different camera that detects 60 feet away.

This is a good monitoring system but one of them broke so I have am using only 5 cameras.

I wouldnot recomand it to use this over sea because it does ot support

It stop working when the temperature from 9 degree and below. Don't buy if you are living in cold area.

The quality of video isnt as good as i expected...and if your wifi goes out so does your security

There is a 5 to 15 seconds lag depend on location and the strength of the signal.

For the money, the Arlo Pro (a Netgear product) is a good wireless security camera system. With a few tweaks, it could be great. Follow the instructions, and set up is easy. I did have a negative experience in that the cameras would connect with the base, work for a minute or two, and then disconnect. However, after a firmware update was done, they connected and have stayed that way for a couple of days so far. The base has to be LAN-connected to your router, which limits where you can locate it. If it could also be a wireless connection, that would give so much more flexibility. Camera color resolution is good, and the range of vision is excellent. So far, I have only tried the system indoors…too cold out to try an outside location. That said, unless there is a distance from base problem, I suspect it will also work well outside. With inside use, you will receive lots of notices that motion has been detected. If there was some simple way to turn temporarily off an indoor camera while you are in the room being monitored, that would be a real plus. In searching the site for information, someone had posted the suggestion of putting a cloth over the camera. Speaking of the Arlo/Netgear site, don’t expect much help there. Most of the community posts are old; and clicking on an on-site help link gets you a 404 error. Bad form Netgear. My recommendation is download the operating manual, and check it for answers before trying to get help from the site. All in all, in spite of the negatives mentioned, I do think this is a good system for the money; and I would recommend it to a friend.

This product is small and light. However, I found it very difficult to set it up with my router.

The alerts blow up your email. Not good for daytime business use. It only records when there is motion which is fine but it usually misses the person walking by there is a lot of delay. Especially when watching live. Takes an excessive amount of time to access a camera for a live feed. All and all pretty bad. I returned it after a week of messing with it.

These are definitely the best security cameras I have seen, if you are able to get them to work. Arlo is a full featured home monitoring system that allows you to watch your house from anywhere. Before I start, the only reason I am taking a star away is because my kit came with a broken camera that would continuely go offline after a few hours of use. I spent several days on the phone with Netgear tech support until finally they decided it was a hardware issue with the camera and sent a new one. While, they were helpful in the end, the hours of time spent on the phone definitely took away from the experience of the devices. After the hardware issue was resolved, the rest of the setup was fairly painless. Install an app on my phone and a few quick clicks and they were connected. The magnetic wall mounts were easy to install but, I never could seem to get them to be as secure as I'd like and would wiggle around on the wall. I could see this being a problem if you weren't mounting the cameras in a corner as some of the angles would definitely make the camera flip upside down. Through the app you can arm and disarm the motion/audio detection for the cameras. The app gives you a few options to set the motion detection on a time schedule or use a geofencing feature that detects when you're phone is away and arms your cameras. I found the geofencing feature to be somewhat unreliable as my cameras would arm and disarm randomly and I couldn't figure out why. For the most part I arm and disarm the cameras manually using my Google Home which works fairly well. This does require you to use IFTT since Google Home and Arlo don't natively support each other. When Arlo is armed it will record a ten second video and notify you when it detects movement then, upload the video to the cloud for view later. Arlo has a few options as far as how much video is stored online. The basic plan, which is free, offers about a gig of storage. Which Netgear says is enough for about 1 week of re ording. There are other plans that offer more storage for a fee. Overall I'd say the cameras work very well if you get functioning cameras. I love being able to open the app anywhere and check on my house. Great product.

I coincidentally installed this in my home a week before my aunt had her home robbed. They took everything of worth, but what I would have never thought of was that they made sure to cut the network cables to her modem and router, maybe to prevent any security system from recording them. Obviously, that caused me to be much more active in using my new system. Having said that, here's what I LOVE about this system: - EASY setup. Connect it to the router, go through some prompts in the app, set the cameras wherever because they are BATTERY POWERED!! - The cameras have rechargeable batteries (did I say that already?) that last a very long time when not in active use (like when you're home) - The night vision is great - The resolution and sound quality is great - The wall mounts are tiny and the cameras stick to them with magnets. MAGNETS! So if you want to quickly move a camera from the wall to the window to keep an eye out for that delivery man, there's nothing to it. - When the system is activated, any time a camera sees or hears anything (your choice), you get a notification on your phone. - It works with IFTTT.com - There are also USB ports on the base that lets you store video and photos locally instead of in the cloud, so if thieves break in and cut your internet, as long as there's still power and your system is active, you're getting all the video of those thieving faces. Really, the only reasons I don't give this a full 5 star rating is strictly because of 1. the number of steps it takes to arm and disarm the system. It isn't much, only like 3 or 4 steps in the app, but I want to be walking out of the house and hit one button after opening the app and be done or have it as a widget. I want turning on a watchful eye in my home to be more like a reflex than an active process I stop and do. and 2. there was a short time initially during the setup where one of the cameras wouldn't stay connected. I saw that others online had had that issue too, but after resetting it and trying again, it worked and I haven't had that problem again. Otherwise, I can't wait to get more cameras and link it up to IFTTT.com too. (oh, I said that already too?)

I should of brought it back to best buy.The camera itself is ok . The 2 way audio is none.

I have to take them off and charge them every couple days, horrible battery life.

The batteries lost the charge before the day was over. I had to charge the batteries daily.
