    nothing but issues - do not recommend

    If I had to do it all over again I'd get something else. Constantly having issues that support can't solve, and support is a series of very painful phone calls to India where they put you on hold and never help you. I regret buying these, but at this point have invested too much into it between accessories etc.

    As a continuous monitoring system this just doesn't work - the batteries simply run out too quickly - outside they only lasted a day or two.

    After (7) months of use one of the three cameras started draining the battery overnight. I called customer service. Everyone I talked to was from India. After (5) calls and (2) case numbers they finally agreed to send me an RMA # to return the camera, at my expense, to get a replacement camera. I will try another security camera system next time around. Not impressed...

    So initially I thought the system was easy to set up. I had a defective camera from the start. Battery life is poor. Not very happy.

    Motion detection range less than 1080p version

    I tried two of the 1080p Arlo cameras and these two 720p cameras, and while I'm not convinced that there is a difference in image quality between the two types, the motion sensitivity range is much better on the 1080p cameras. I played with all the sensitivity settings in the app, so I don't think it's a configuration issue. I'm sticking with the 1080p cameras and returning these.

    Total waste of money. the cameras miss images most often. There is absolutely no support from Arlo. they expect you to figure it out or to find help from other Arlo users and to self trouble shoot/problem solve. I put my system in storage due to moving and now cannot connect at all.

    BUYER BE WARE! In less than 3 months my battery died at a cost of 50.00 for a replacement. Now a month later another one same cost. As well as one of my cameras is no longer working. I do not recommend this system. Arlo DOES NOT repair ANY CAMERA once out of warranty. To replace a camera is $170! BUYER BE WARE!

    Less than a year later, most of the thumbnails for the saved video are all stripes, and the video is pixelation and freezes. I have a feeling this is more of an issue with their servers, so using hardware warranty won’t make any difference. No longer useful as a security camera. And the battery wears out about 25% faster.

    Camera is slow. Takes a few second to see in app when adjusting the camera. Camera keeps on dropping on Apple iOS but not Android (not showing as an available device). Tried to contact customer support but couldn't get through.

    We exchanged the first set of camera's we purchased because one of them kept going offline. Hooked up the second set and one of those cameras is continuously going offline. This product is to expensive for it to not work better then this. I will be returning this set and purchasing a different name brand.
