I bought these cameras at the regular price $649 on Jan 1. We put them up on Jan 7. By Jan 20th I was already getting low battery notifications. I'm thinking of returning them but I have to get the installer to get them off the building first. Very disappointed. They work well except for batteries having to be replaced after only two weeks.

Every works ok except you can't access your videos remotely unless you pay a monthly fee which renders this product useless in my opinion. If I wanted to pay a monthly fee I would have gotten ADT or some other professionally monitored system. Very disappointed, I do not recommend.

if I cold give this camera a negative I would. it is a great camera in the daytime but night time is a whole different ball game. you can only see about 5 feet out at night. what a waste of a lot of money.

Let me sum up my thoughts about this system, "it sucks"! Don't spend the $1,000.00 on this system. Barely a year old and I've already lost one camera. Best Buy is of ZERO help, but they did sell me a new battery. Besides the poor quality of the system, another issue is that by the time I received a notice that a package was being delivered or visitor was at my front door or driving up my driveway, I would log into the app - and they were long gone! This system does not work like the RING system supposedly does, as shown on TV. The concept of talking to someone in real time was what I was looking for, but it is NOT the case with my Arlo System. There is no way you could talk to the individual in real time. KEEP LOOKING for another system...

I was told that the batteries would last more than a month but I have to charge them every week. They don't record activity that they should and they don't work in the cold. I had damage done to my car with a camera pointed right at it and it did not record anything. Very disappointed and taking them back

I purchased the 1 camera wirefree and it worked for a week. During the second week I had to restart the cameras many times a day. And access support. The camera stopped detecting motion and recording in less than 15 minuntes. after many attempts and reading the forums, which had I done ahead of time I would not have purchased this. I returned it on day 13. Got another just thinking it had a bad cam. I got the replacement 3 days ago. I have still not been able to get it working. It always says base offline, even though all 3 lights are green. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. having is just as bad as not having security at all.

This product when I first got it thrilled me. Two years later I am writing this review. Do not get this product for a long term security solution. Some times the motion detection misses situations and may only get the tail end. I bought a four back and have bought 3 other single pro models to replace the first generation model. So far the Arlo pros are working fine. I bought the first generation 2 years ago and they are not starting not tow work. I just got off customers service and it was very unhelpful. Do not get the first generation for along term solution. Only buy it for temporary solution to detecting security issues. I am so angry that I have to keep buying replacement parts. I have spent close to 1,000 dollars for a product that was suppose to only be 300 plus.

The Arlo Pro 3 system has been having issues since inception with the Activity Zone feature. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. You can set your Activity Zone to surround just your driveway or yard, and every person walking by, cyclist riding by or car passing by will be picked up as a notification. As a result, the batteries in our camera's run out every 3 days beacuase of all the motion they are picking up. We paid for the Premier Subscription specifically for this feature and IT DOES NOT WORK. I called Customer Service and got the runaround about their Engineering Dept "Working on it." What a joke. This Arlo System is going in the trash.......looking at other options.

My worst fear is someone coming into our house or braking into our car. We have 4 Arlo cameras around the house. 2 facing my car one on the back porch and the other one on the side of the house. Very disappointed to wake up this morning to see my car broken into and my arlo cameras have NOTHING to show for it! I’m pregnant so I depend on the cameras to keep me safe while my boyfriend works out of town. If your looking into buying them do research because anything can happen at any given time. And you need your home security system to work properly!!!!

I have had the arlo pro for 3 1/2 months and the cameras suddenly stopped working. Best Buy could do nothing to help me with this issue bc I didn't purchase the geek squad protection. $399.99 was the price I paid for 2 cameras. Bet gear is the company that makes these cameras and they have not be able to refund me my money or send me a replacement for the product that's not working. I have tried troubleshooting for 16days and still not luck! I would not recommend the arlo pro to anyone at all !

At first I was really excited buying this but now-

Three days after installation my Arlo Pro 2 went offline due to a power outage from a thunder storm. I contacted support and was told this was a problem for a Level 2 technician not a Level 1 tech - who could barely speak English. I was told Level 2 tech would call me that day. The Level 2 tech - another that barely spoke English - called me the NEXT day. In the meantime I figured out that I had to uninstall the cameras, resync to the base and reinstall! I went out of town for three weeks and the cameras did not work for 10 of these days! The camera mount is super flimsy! I live in Florida with hurricanes - these cameras would blow away during a hurricane! I returned this system!

Batteries run down quickly and expensive to replace

Bought the two camera setup and extra battery. Took it home and plugged everything in. Got it set up and working on the phone. Then I get a message that the base firmware needed to be updated. It would not allow the thing to work without the firmware update. Tried several times to get it to update with no luck. Tried contacting the vendor and after finally waiting 25 minutes for someone to get online to at least chat with me on the issue, I threw everything in the Best Buy bag and took it back. At least Best Buy refunded everything with no problem.

At first we love this product I talked friends and family into getting the system. Then I got an email wanting me to upgrade my subscription to a paid plan which I did not want because they said 5 cameras or less no subscriptions. After the email went out mine, my brothers, and my mom are all having the same problem it is only picking up every now and again when people walk by or cars drive by but it will go off all day long for absolutely nothing. I wish it hadn't been past the return date because I would take them back.

Extremely disappointing and expensive mistake. The though of system doing what it promises would be nice. Sadly, most of the time, it does not work as promised. I often find system disarmed when I had it armed. Geofencing doesn't work. Programming does not work. Thefts may stay away because it appears you have a system... but it does not work very well.. As bad as the system is, Netgear Customer Service is even worse. Spent hours just to get ahold of someone after numerous hang-ups. What a waste of money.

Here is my take on Arlo Pro Cameras DON'T BUY THEM!!! Here are my reasons why: app doesn't load all the time, website is always down or says you need updating, And the BIGGEST come to find out just after 1 YEAR WARRANTY, EXPIRES -AND MY CAMERA FAILS and there is no repair support! I even offered to pay to have it fixed and was told there a throw away CAMERA system!! They do not repair anything they just throw them away! but if under warranty they will replace them with new ones! SO BOTTOM LINE ALL THE MONEY YOU SPEND TO BUY THEM IS ONLY GOOD FOR 1 YEAR!!!!!

If you are looking to install this product wirelessly, you are mistaking. The battery runs out very quickly especially in the high traffic areas. I'm currently charging my batteries twice a week.

I read the reviews before purchasing and honestly its not worth $600. -Motion detection is horrible. -Setup is not programmed correctly -Its either armed or unarmed. The "custom" mode has no sense and complicated to setup -If you call support, be ready for a foreigner to answer (India). - Had it for 48 hours and its going back to store.
