Its great if you want to see every car drive down your street. Or the kids playing basketball 3 houses down. But it failed to catch someone stealing our sons bike 2 feet from our front porch. The one time we needed it to work, it didn't.

The motion sensor records with the significant delay. I have people suddenly appearing in the middle of the recording. E.G Someone can come up quickly to your door and leave. The camera will only record empty space. Also, it won't record trough the window! The sensor won't pick up any movement.This system didn't resolved my issues. It works great indoors. Forget about outdoors.

Bought the Arlo Pro set of 4 cameras and the base for our showroom. Wasted 4+ hours trying to set it up. The base unit did not want to communicate with the cameras and sync up with them. Read through all support forums, seems to be a common problem with a faulty base if none of the cameras can sync up! I guess the manufacturer is too busy selling! No time left for quality assurance and testing before the units leave the factory! Terrible experience.

Your susposed to be able to hook up a thumb drive or external drive to save videos. WRONG!!! All it does is give you a notification to format drive. I have bought and tried 5 different tumb drives. NOTHING WORKS! ITs 2018 and simple things like this should not be an issue. Oh yeah their chat system never connects and calling them is pointless.

I have 10 Arlo Pro cameras and a premium plan. I have had nothing but problems with this system since installation in 2017. Arlo support is not available. The Arlo Community is the only chance of getting any support and that is other users looking for solutions. I regret this purchase and will have to look for a better option.

So Best Buy checkout gal tells me that to return it it must be in a resalable condition. Get home ... their packaging is so bad to get the camera out of its "blister pack" you have to destroy the packaging. It's bolted to a plastic platform. You cannot get to it to take camera off. F-. Going back.

Brand new and won't take a charge. BB won't allow a return. Manufacturer (Netgear) states it's because my software isn't updated (?) and wants to fleece me for $99 to get it working. Really? I plug the charger into the wall to charge the battery, it won't charge and it's the software? Give me a break. DON'T BUY THIS BRAND! A one star rating is too high.

never buy this product, It never works, for example it doesn't start recording right away so it hardly ever records a person walking up just as they are leaving thats my main problem the other issue it only records for 11 seconds even tho i tell it to record for 120 when it detects motion

Base station would not boot up properly. Customer support advised changing outlets then determined it was defective. Of all the kits that could've been sold at the store I'm blown away at why it was so likely I ended up with the defective one. Going to return it for another one since I really need a kit like this to work.

Batteries do not last long no matter how I have them set up. The hole in the camera to screw it on the mount fell out of the camera. The cameras seem to miss some obvious motions. I have tried all kinds of settings and read/watched help and tips information with no luck.

less than 2 years, 2 camera's battery totally dead, failed to charge . There got to be a hidden quality issue on their product, the reason I left this review is just to share the fact to warn other buyers not to buy this product since its having this critical problem.

I have had this product for less than a year. The rechargeable batteries now only last a week before they need to be charged again. Replacement batteries cost $50/each. Geofencing does not work. Unable to return.

These cameras lag so bad it’s unreal. These Arlo cameras lag by 40 seconds or more live! That’s ridiculous. I wanted to upgrade my cameras to wireless cameras but these are absolutely horrible. Do not buy, don’t waste your time or money.

Returning as I am unable to sync one of the 2 cameras; Netgear/ Arlo has zero customer service. For the price I feel I can find a better working system. I am disappointed and especially believing the reviews. Can't recommend.Truly wanted this to work.

1. recording video only 30 sec. then what the robber did you will not see. 2. if a person moves very slowly and within 20 meters your camera will not respond 3. the settings will not help you in this problem

All the cameras stopped working after I didn’t use them for 6 months. It works only when it’s plugged in.

Arlo is the worst product I have ever bought. The cameras are horrible and the customer service is even worse. Buy any other brand. Trust me.

Bought these due to the reviews and the cameras with rechargeable batteries - will not charge due to charging errors. This seems to be a common issue. Onto the next thing!

IF I KNOW HOW THEY WAS I WOULD NEVER WASTED OVER 1000 DOLLARS ON THIS HELL NO I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Cameras go offline often. Cant reach tech support. Cant get cameras to record live at times. Really a pain when you rely on them for home security.
