I added this camera to my 4 camera system. Easy to add with simple instructions. Battery comes charged, but I charged for an hour before installation of camera just to make sure it was fully charged.

the Camera works fine.. still not crystal clear but good for regular security. I have now moved to the Arlo Ultra so i can get the resolution I am looking for. That is, to clearly see faces and licence plates from a distance.

I’ve had the Arlo cameras for about three or four months these cameras are great I wouldn’t change anything about him I definitely would recommend getting this camera

We have the set of four we purchased about 6 months ago. We added this one this last month. Before we put this one outside we were hit with a small tornado. All the cameras survived. The electric went out so no videos of the storm. But a very well made product. Gusts over 80 miles per hour and knocked down 5 - 35 year old trees - left the shed with the camera on the magnet. Knocked over the outhouse and knocked the camera off the magnet. Camera works great for capturing the local racoon in the back yard. Packages delivered to the door. Very good at picking up on movement in the yard.

Was worried about all of the reviews about "lag" but I really believe it has to do a lot with your internet speed. I haven't had that much of an issue with it and the battery life is really great!

Added this to my first generation Arlo system. Much better picture than the older models, but only about half of the battery life. Has to be recharged about every 3 weeks. Works really well.

I started with a couple Arlo cameras when they first came out and slowly grew to over 10 cameras of all different models. Over the years I stuck with what I perceived as new product growing pains. Unfortunately, the Arlo products have been so unreliable for so long, that I have just given up. First off, I live in Texas and none of the Netgear Outdoor Power supplies have lasted through an entire season. They appear to burn up during the hotter months. Sometimes they come back after I cycle power, but most are dead (and not returnable). Funnily enough, a Netgear Arlo Outdoor PS I have installed indoors works fine. Secondly, I was excited when Netgear started offering the CVR feature (continuous video recording) because sometimes the video motion detection would start recording a little too late or stop to early. This sometimes resulted in missing what caused the motion or didn't record long enough for the whole incident. Shortly after turning on CVR, I had workers at the house when I could no be there and had hoped to remotely monitor the work being done. Except the CVR recording stopped. Another time, we had someone take something off our boat and of course there was no CVR recording. The short story... every time I turn on CVR, it works for a short time, then it will stop. Long story: I spent hours on the multiple tech support calls and they always come up with some excuse. This involved removing the cameras, adding them back in, then configuring and reconfiguring (which by the way deletes all CVR video (and sometimes deletes the motion based recording). The most recent failure, involved their billing system. Tech support could not fix the problem and for a time put in a patch that gave me unlimited CVR for all cameras (with the understanding my account would revert back to paid CVR after they fixed their systems). I monitored the CVR recording for a few weeks and it seemed to be working again. Then sometime in the span of 2 months, CVR stopped again. It still shows the CVR icon, but there are no videos when you go to play them back. I feel extremely let down by Netgear. These are not cheap cameras and subscriptions and I was very tolerant of their "growing pains for years". Now I need to scrap or sell the Arlo crap and find something else more reliable. I have asked Netgear to cancel and refund the CVR charges. If they do, I will update this review.

The system still has a few bugs in it. Sometimes I have to check to make sure the "geofencing" is actually enabled. Overall the system is good and the video is very clear and bright. They have a good field of vision.

This is my 5th Arlo Camera. I highly recommend this product. Setup is easy. It will take longer for you to figure out where you want it than to set it up. If I am correct, over 5 cameras requires a subscription.

This is the third Arlo Pro 2 that I've purchased. Arlo has the perfect system to add to and it was as simple as bringing the camera within a few feet of the hub and pressing a button to sync. Same great quality.

This was an additional purchase to a pack that we received a four cameras. We are very please with a Arlo system easy to mount works well holds charge well for a long time if you’re not getting too many alerts.

I had my security video cameras installed by Best Buy. I feel so safe and when looking at the recordings, where day or night, they are crisp and clear.. Only saw cats and dogs so far but that's a good thing.

The arlo pro 2 1080p HD camera works great, I can see everything clear, it’s not 4K clear but clear enough to keep an eye on the kiddos. I always loved the arlo cameras they are the best.

Great camera and easy to use. Quality and reliable. Added it to my Arlo Pro 4 camera system easily. I really love the compatibility and ease of use. It is easy to add more cameras and other assessories.

The clarity of these cameras are GREAT! One good thing about them is that you can change the sensitivity of each camera. Living in the country, we have many night time flying bugs that kept setting off the cameras the first night we installed them so, we had to decrease the sensitivity. It may not catch bugs any more but still will catch a small bird that flys by! We could change it to be less sensitive but are ok with this option. It picks up movement and sound very quickly and notifies you just as fast! I sleep well at night thanks to the added security of Arlo! My German Shepherd and other dogs are no longer the only ones who hear noises around our house! Thanks Arlo for giving us visual proof of the noises we hear!

The Pro 2 clarity is amazing compared to the regular Arlo Pro

I added this to an existing system and it worked great, Picture and battery have both improved. The alarm function very habdy if used in a remote area. The Arlo web is a good replacement for o manual.

I've added 2 of these Pro 2 cameras to my 3 cam. Arlo Pro system and found the improved resolution and clarity, along with improvements from newer, better hardware and firmware, make for a better camera.

I bought into the Arlo system a few years ago and, although they work just fine, I feel like I've spent too much now to change to a new, less expensive system. These babies are waaaay overpriced for their quality. Not especially motion-sensitive (Ring doorbell cam is way more sensitive) and I've rarely ever gotten the speaker to work on-command when I need it. Seems like the quality of motion sensitivity varies quite a bit from cam to cam, some are more sensitive than others of the same model and year. Also, make sure you keep your cam batteries topped off to at least 30% because they drop FAST after they get below that.
