Could be perfect. But...

I have 3 of these. I would give them a higher rating if not for ... well a few things.
1. The battery lasts for a good while except... man, when it gets a wild hair up its backside, it thinks EVERYTHING is moving. Then it goes dead in 3 days. No joke.
2. The mount options are a bit insane. Either magnet or the screw thing, and the screw thing is not cheap and it's not easy to mount (especially when it's cold)... 'cause it's right next to the magnet which tries EVERY time to grab the screw. Design flaw much?
3. It only saves online. Yes, only. So... if your internet provider goes down so does your camera. I mean, for me, that's not a HUGE thing 'cause, ours only goes down once in a while. But other people have less reliable internet. Let us set up local save? Or at least local cache?
4. I want to have a couple of the things that are considered "pro" features. But not all of them. Dang, that pro subscription is expensive.
Otherwise? I mean, I have 3 cameras. And I've considered getting a 4th. So, it's not horrible. But it's not a 5 star product.

Good security camera, good picture quality. It has a speaker on it that is used to speak to unwanted visitors or friends and family but it is completely useless unless someone has it up to their ears, this feature should be removed. The battery on this camera is amazing. I would not buy another one. I'll stick with my nest cams.

Already have an Arlo Pro hub and cameras. Needed an extra camera for an outside location. We ended up using the Pro 2 camera for our front door. I can see a difference in the Pro v. Pro 2. Seeing the difference between 720p and 1080p I would have started with the Pro 2 series.

These cameras work great! Easy to install, has all the features you need Night vision, 2 way audio, Cool sleek look! No complaints so far! Recommend buying the metal bolt on mounts for these if mounting them outside. Only complaint is the line of sight/signal range restrictions between the camera and the base station.

I bought this surveillance camera set fir myself after I bought it for my mother in law. The cameras mount easily with no real skill necessary. The system is nearly plug and play and the camera batteries are long lasting. I would buy again and would recommend to a friend.

This Arlo camera was very easy to add on to my Camera Network in my house. The video is very clear and the audio is clear as well. When I go out of town I have a better peace of mind being able to watch over my house from afar without an expensive contract.

Several years ago, I bought my first Arlo camera. I bought this as a second camera. It was incredibly easy to add to my Arlo system. I now have two cameras. The first camera is holding it charge up pretty well even though I live in a climate that has extreme cold in the winter and extreme heat in the summer.

I have had the Arlo Pro 2 for about two years now. I think the quality of the product is excellent and it has worked really well over the past couple of years. The initial set up was a bit of a pain due but once everything is set up, it worked really well. Only issues I have had so far have been the charger going out after about 6 months and they sent me a replacement along with two new batteries because they thought something was wrong with the batteries when they didn't charge properly. I ended up getting a dual charger and it along with the extra batteries make it much easier (with no downtime) for me to use this system.
Camera quality wise, obviously the newer 2K/4K systems are much better. However, the 1080P quality is good enough in most instances and the audio picks up pretty well.
Sensors do pick up quite a bit of shadows and start recording at that time. Not a huge deal, just annoying during certain summer days. When the time comes to replace these, I would go for the 4K version from Arlo.

Camera works well in low light conditions. Battery life with the solar panel is not an issue at all since it always keeps it charged after overnight usage. Software is a little clunky to setup the schedule to turn the cameras on and off automatically if you are setting up multiple cameras. Besides that great consumer based security system.

I had some original Arlo cameras and they flew through batteries like crazy. Now this version includes rechargeable batteries that last significantly longer. I also like other improvements like audio back and forth , variable automatic recording times vs. a set time, and improved video quality.

We bought this Arlo Pro 2 to add to our current Arlo Pro system. It connected to our system with ease and the camera works great. We love that there is no missing video when this camera saves a clip. The Arlo Pro has few seconds of delay before recording.

I love that this camera has clear sound a a good picture. I gave it four stars for battery life. You have to charge these with a USB and it doesn’t last nearly as long as the rechargeable batteries in the older models. It could be because of the sound?

I've had the original Arlo camera, and the Arlo Pro. This camera is definitely and good improvement over the Arlo Pro. In my opinion colors seem more defined and video quality is cleaner being that you are going from 720p on the Arlo pro to 1080p on the pro 2s. More or less everything else is the same. You do have the ability to set activity zones if the camera is plugged in and have constant video recording if you pay for the service. But I think one of the or probably the main selling point of the Arlo cameras is the 7 day free cloud storage plans for up to 5 cameras. All in all, if you are a fan of the arlo cameras for the flexibility due to be totally wireless, you won't be disappointed with the Pro 2.

The motion sensor and resolution was a big step up from the previous version. I don't have any issues of night vision as others may have suggested. I guess you will need to mount it away from your brick wall using outdoor security mount and don't point it directly at the point light source such as a street light and it has not failed me yet.
