DON'T BUY IT

Looks like they hide the info that customers may want to find before purchase. You always need to connect this device to the internet for the live view. You can only use 5 cameras for free and need to subscribe if you need to record 24/7 (called CVR?) or save the recording longer. You can add an external HDD, BUT this is only for additional backup storage when the main device is not on-line. The data from the HDD and cloud storage always synk each other, so you can't manage the recordings from the HDD yourself. ALSO You cannot keep the recorded data in the HDD unless you upgrade your account. What a garbage! The app also losts connection to the server frequently while I am watching in live. The server is down on and on and on... I am using one of the cameras in my room and it's blinking a lot at midnight while I am sleeping. Its so bright enough waking me up! There is no feature to turn the LED completely off!! I HATE THIS PRODUCT!!!
