Be wary of these high reviews

While the cameras might be good, the app and customer support by Arlo is the worst in the industry. So many issues with the app, geofencing not working reliably, alexa integration very spotty if works at all, and issues that have been lingering for over a year are not getting addressed. Go see for yourself in the Arlo Support forums, there you will find hundreds of unhappy, frustrated and down right angry customers who have paid a fortune for these systems only to spend more time getting them to do what's advertised instead of enjoying their system. Best Buy should use its clout to get this company to start fixing issues in a timely manner. So many things broken and when some get fixed, the next app update or firmware update breaks them all over again and adds more things to list of items not working correctly. Don't take my word for it just do a search for arlo forums and look around. I wish I had done that before I spent the 3000 to install these in my two properties. Buyer be ware.

Great when it works. Sometimes it disconnects from the base station & it's hard to get the base station to connect again. Would be ideal if it wasn't so buggy.

Disappointed at times as units can go offline. Then it's hard to get them online again. Some of my batteries lose charge to fast.

Now I was talked into getting this camera. Which after purchasing my camera, I truly feel like I should’ve went ahead and returned it back to the store. Because Arlo company shouldn’t be charging as much money as they do for their cameras. Paying over 200 bucks for a 1 camera, you’d think that Arlo would’ve done way better with the quality of their cameras. Never will I ever purchase another Arlo camera again.

I had purchased this to add onto a 4 camera system. It synced with the existing system well enough. I only purchased Arlo Pro 2 due to the lower Black Friday cost.

I was told the cameras had night vision. They don't. Absolutely worthless at night. No response from my installer.

This product could be made with the connect port much easier to place the recharged cord without struggles. Is hard to put it to recharge.

Not the best surveillance system, but it’s slightly above mediocre and affordable, so that alone makes it a good buy for most people

I guess I have to write a review to get rid of the nag emails. It's a camera. It captures video. Wireless. Does what it's supposed to do.

If you’re in a high traffic area it’ll get annoying. Alerts are delayed a few seconds but it works just fine . Does it’s job.

I bought two of these cameras to replace two that are under warranty, have never worked right, and it was so difficult to deal with customer service/tech support that I just bought two new ones. I have bought enough of these cameras and hubs that I feel locked in, but I can't recommend this system. It just isn't ready for prime time.

I just reviewed the base with two cameras. I added this camera to the setup. I need to change the batteries in my cameras twice a week per camera. Video quality I have at the lowest quality to help with battery life. The video quality is still good.

I bought 2 Arlo Pro2 cameras, and set them up with no problems. I plugged them into AC, for continuous power. The front door battery would discharge completely, unless I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I called support, they asked me to move it to another location, I did with the same results. I bought a new camera and swapped the battery and charge cord, with the same result. The 2 other cameras work fine, so the front door camera is defective. The support tech didn’t allow me to explain my problem and was very condescending. I sent them an email and haven’t heard from them yet!!

Nice pix but response and recovery time is way too slow to catch even a cat moving at a slightly brisk pace.
