I already have the arlo pro and I just purchased this pro 2 add-on. Then i read the other reviews about the night vision not being clear. But i contacted netgear support and they told me to try and power cycle it. Take out the battery for 2 minutes and put it back in. Its not fuzzy in night vision anymore. Its alot clearer and looks good.

It looses its connection often?? often it shows pictures in Black and White only? it never broadcasts my voice? not happy with overall function

Work for like 20 days after that picture was bad and power cord to charge battery stop work

These are trash and the app is awful. The GPS/Home detection suck. I sold them for Nest products.

I purchased this Arlo Pro 2 camera to go along with my Arlo Pro setup. The camera works fine except the night vision is very poor very dark compared to Arlo Pro. I first purchased the camera from Amazon returned it thinking it was defective. I then went to BestBuy and purchased another one. I am having the same result the night vision is very dark compared to the Arlo Pro 1. So I don't know if I'm going to keep it maybe they'll be a firmware update to improve things we'll see what happens but right now if you need it for night vision Outdoors. I would just go with the Arlo Pro and not the Arlo Pro 2.

Camera does not take good photos at all when you go to review them there all fuzzie looking

Slow response. App takes too long to open and load video.

I had the Pro version but this Pro 2 way out does them, clear picture day or night. It actually caught someone breaking into my car

Much like the Arlo Pro version, it's not quite the resolution stated, but the Pro 2 has better resolution than the Pro. I was able to add to my existing Pro setup without issue... very impressed that everything is compatible, mounts, chargers, bases.. etc. New features were presented to me as I used the new camera.

Almost to the point of set it and forget it. Besides having a periodic battery recharge these cameras are extremely self sufficient. The wireless mobility and weatherproof design make them perfect in every aspect of their intended use so long as you have unlimited broadband.

I added this Arlo Pro 2 camera to my existing original arlo setup and it was an easy addition. Also purchased an outside mount and set this camera up by my front door. Quality of image and audio has been outstanding. Battery life is pretty good, tho I will probably buy a second battery for easy swap out. I definitely recommend this camera!

Have a number of Arlo Pro's in two locations. The Pro is a good camera, nice picture and the battery life is very good after you tweak the settings (Motion, Record duration, etc) for areas that have a modest amount of activity. I was looking forward to a better picture/video however with the Arlo Pro 2 which it has. Unfortunately, the camera sucks the battery like no other. I also use the solar panels. These don't begin to hold an Arlo Pro 2. I read somewhere about some sort of "fine print" talking about battery life. Frankly, fine print doesn't do it for me. The Arlo line has established certain expectations. These expectations are not fulfilled in the Pro 2 based off my experience. I'm going to try and find a way to hard wire them in, but I would not have bought them knowing what I know now simply because the Arlo Pro's work very well for months, not hours.

I purchased a couple of Arlo pro 2 kits for exterior use. The night time picture is hazy and grainy to the point of being worthless for night use. The original Arlo pro cameras I have do a significantly better job at night.

I have several Arlo Pro cameras and recently purchased a new Arlo Pro 2 to start upgrading some of my more active cameras. Video quality is better and it picks up a wider range of motion compared to the Arlo Pro cameras. This is a great upgrade for cameras that are placed in high-traffic areas and I will definitely be grabbing a couple more.

This camera has a little bit better picture than the 720p Arlo camera it replaced! I am very happy that once it synced to my old Arlo base it worked fine. So do not be afraid to upgrade with this camera from the old 720p camera and keep your old base station!

I am having issues with the Pro 2 battery life. These camera's are a complete waste of money. I have a mix of the Arlo Pro and Pro 2 on the Arlo solar panels. The Arlo Pro work just fine and will stay charged 100%. The Pro 2 will not stay charged at 100% no matter which panel I use. They are defective and Netgear needs to come up with a replacement plan for the unusuable cameras. I am out of my 30 day window to return it so Netgear has given many of us the big one where the sun don't shine! I will put this review on as many sites as I can to help spread the word on this garbage.

My cameras work great. Has some glitches from time to time but overall I’m satisfied. The cameras are expensive but they work pretty good. No problems so far.

Excellent camera. Very good picture over 1080. Excellent good sensitivity for recording.

Awesome picture. Tons of options when added with SmartThings and Google Home. The Arlo app is easy to use.
