We first purchases camera system to be solely outside and monitor the front of our house but since then we have put them indoors and love the two way talk option.

Arlo recently separated from netgear and released updated software and firmware. They have BROKEN advertised functionality with SmartThings rendering the integration useless. After the community of users called, provided tech info and feedback, Arlo support has now refused to provide any information on if they will fix it. They have started to point to SmartThings as the culprit. They are ignoring requests to make fixes. They believe breaking existing functionality and breaking advertised integration is okay. I’m sad to say that Arlo quality and support is now so bad that after being a user for years and someone that recommended them to others, I now no longer recommend the use or purchase of their products. We CAN’T TRUST our security to a company that doesn’t care about its customers. #ArloCameraSupportStinks #ArloCamerasDoNotTrust

GREAT SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT. I REALLY LOVE THE PRODUCT BUT AS A SUGGESTION I WOULD LIKE FOR THE PACKAGE TO INCLUDE AN EXTRA BATTERY SO YOU CAN ROTATE THE CHARGE.

This is better than a banana sandwich and grape coolaid. Thats whats up.

I use these and the Arlo Baby for around the house. They are easy to move wherever the baby is. Very convenient! The cost of paying for recordings is way too high and the app freezes a lot! Definitely needs more refinement. Local storage option would make these a very nice option...but they won't do that.

I really like that the alerts say person or vehicle, or animal!!

This system works well and I would recommend it to others.

Speaker on these cameras is not very loud but the cameras are great.

I would definitely recommend this product for home or small business security. Easy installation. Just make sure you wireless network has the speed to handle the cameras.

I already owned one regular camera but it wasn’t a pro 2. This camera is way better than the first generation. Plan to buy additional cameras for more locations.

I’ve been thinking about the Arlo camera system for a while now. It had the look and feel of a product just waiting to be purchased, but also one that made me feel a little hesitant because of it’s biggest selling point – completely wireless. The Arlo Pro 2 is the latest entry. The packaging is very compact, but eloquent. Heck, I didn’t really believe 2 cameras were in the box. Once opened, the first thing I noticed was the extraordinary build quality of the components. The cameras have that substantial, quality feeling. This system is very well made. Considering the price of an individual camera, I would say build quality is more than reassuring of the value. The base unit is very simple, having a small footprint. One thing I would have liked would be to have a small built in switch. This is probably overkill, but would have been nice to have. Also in the box are rechargeable batteries and mounts for both cameras. The mounts are magnetic wall mounts – for indoors. A nice to have would have been adding the outdoor ball jointed mount. There is also a USB charger and a simple instruction booklet. Everything you need to get started. Getting started was very simple; a literal piece of cake. I had no trouble following the directions provided. The cameras linked seamlessly. Really, this was one of the best setup experiences I have had the pleasure of executing, especially with wireless devices involved. The app is very simple, and it couldn’t be more straightforward in setup or usability. There are options allowing you to adjust camera settings, including motion sensitivity. You can also setup geofencing – although it would definitely be nice to have the ability to add multiple devices. I find the app to be very responsive as well. Arlo allows you to treat it as a security hub. This allows you to arm and disarm the system for motion detection. As motion is detected, the camera records activity to the cloud. As for the camera, operation is very stable. I must say, the testimonies I have read and heard about the Arlo system had me skeptical, and after my experience, I don’t understand what the problem has been. I have heard about recording delays, poor video quality, disconnection, etc. This has not been the case in my instance. Video quality has been fantastic, and responsiveness has been spot on. Maybe the Pro 2 fixes previous issues. This thing really does what is advertised. I have been more than pleased at the overall performance. Also, battery life has been spectacular. Of course, I am using the optimized setting, but the battery life has been exceptional. There is now IFFFTT and SmartThings integration; that is more than a welcome sight. It appears Arlo Pro 2 has addressed many issues that concerned me, with the most important being flexibility/connectivity. If you are looking for a home camera system, you can’t go wrong with the Arlo Pro 2. It’s easy to setup, simple to operate, and very responsible and dependable.

Great product works well but need to include power cords for each camera..

Right out of the box the resolution was grainy. Called Nextgear and got the run around. Asked for a refund or exchange and was told no by the rep. Package shows 1080p but quality is closer to 720 or less. Easy set up, batteries don’t last long.

Very good quality and video recordings. Easy to install and good response time when motion is detected. I liked it so much I bought a second set for office.

This is one outstanding system. I love getting alerts on my phone when their is movement or sound. Very easy to install and move around.the price is right on this baby!

Arlo cameras very easy to set up and use. Had I not had these I would've never knew my yard and basement was flooded when a storm came in I was far from home at time

The quality is not quite as clear as I would have hoped, but still a great camera setup for the entire exterior of my house.

Arlo is absolutely amazing security for the price. Within 15 minutes I had cameras and app installed and was monitoring my yard. Also great that it is ALexa compatible.
