--Install-- Arlo pro 2 is very easy to setup. It takes me around 10 mins to install application on my phone, create an account, and connect both cameras. It takes me another couple minutes to hang my cameras at my front door and side door. Thanks to magnetic base. My camera are underneath my roof, not sure how good rain/water resistance is. --feature-- The Arlo application provides lots of different features. You can setup recording schedule or trigger by geofencing. I tried geofencing, it didn’t work very well for me. I’ll blame my phone on that one. I use the scheduler most of the time. It is quite flexible. For instance, I want to turn on my front door camera all the time and side door only during the day time. I can create different modes and mix those together into the schedule. You can also do the same for the built in siren. By the way, the siren is really loud. --Performance-- It is very easy to browse the recorded video. The video quality is really good, even during the night time. 1080p is just as good as you need. The audio recording is good, too. However, there is 1 ~ 2 seconds delay before the recording is started when it’s on battery. This is fine for me since the motion sensor is quite sensitive. I can always see who drops my package at the front door. According to Arlo website, if you have power connected, you can rewind 3 seconds before the activity is detected. --my expectation-- This Arlo pro 2 really provide a huge benefit by using wireless camera. I always want a security camera. But, I don’t want to deal with wiring problem. All I need from the camera is to record the key moment when something happens. ( You just need a 10 seconds video to see who stole your package. ) --price/value-- I think the price is very similar compared with other product out there. The basic program, which support up to 5 cam works perfectly for me. If you need more than 2 cameras, the per unit cost will lower. In summary, it’s super easy to install the cameras, the video recording quality is good, and the application is very easy to use. I really like this product. Very good but is very glitchy you need incredibly good WiFi for these to work and capture real time.

Pro 2 is very clear, i have 6 camera you can zoom it and see it clearly but it is better if you have a good internet router.

it’s a great camera. set up and adjusting the setting is very easy. you can add more camera as long as it fits your budget

We bought this camera system for my elderly mother. The box says they stay charged for over 200 hours at a time yet we were having to go over every 4 days to charge them for her as they would not hold the charge. That and the quality was very grainy and dark in 2 of the cameras even in the middle of the day. There is not an option to turn off or silence the notifications for movement either so your phone is constantly going off detecting movement and draining your phone battery at the same time. Very annoying and Not worth it.

These work great because of the wireless feature but you can leave them plugged in so no need to keep recharging them

I love this camera, the fact that it comes with free video storage for 7 days is the best. Instant notification to your phone

this has the potential to be a great product... if they get the recording times fixed. It constantly cuts off recordings while there is motion in the frame. Support is the same old thing, re-set it, turn it off and on.... etc. I hope the get it fixed.

These cams are great and have no costs to view as opposed to some other brands. I believe the Arli cams are the best value out there.

I WISH I had bought these sooner. The set up is easy and putting the APP on my phone was easy as well.

I really love them. They give you a piece of mind when you are at home or not at home. Always knowing what is going on.

I have been using the Arlo Pro 2 two camera system for a little over a month and could not be any more satisfied.

EXCELLENT SYSTEM FOR THE PRICE AND THE FEATURES INCLUDED. WITH A BIT OF TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE INSTALLATION IS NOT TOO DIFFICULT.

Arlo Pro 2 Great HD camera no cost cloud storage works great and battery life is good a best value !

I like the design and magnetic attaching but the video quality isn’t great, the app is very slow/laggy even with 100+ mbps connection. Also, outdoor use is very difficult with needing to keep it constantly plugged in but not a waterproof power connection.

I picked up the Arlo 2 pro with 4 cameras. The pic and description on the website shows VMB4000 model base station. That model had 2 USB ports and Siren. The model I got was VMB4500, it’s the newer model but only had 1 USB port and no power button or siren feature. Best Buy should update their site to reflect that. On to what you get, 4 cameras with standard magnetic mounts but only 2 set of screws... really paying all this and they can’t include same amount of screws as mounts. You also get 4 batteries but 1 charger and 1 usb cable. Guess Arlo never learned about proportions. I will set up the cameras and test them, so more feedback to be provided!!
