I have the original 4 camera Arlo System that has continued to work for me over the past couple of years. There was no two way audio and you had to have a supply of special batteries on hand. The motion sensing recording and scheduling was great but there is always room for getting better. Enter the Arlo Pro 2 camera system. Setup of the Arlo specific router and syncing of the cameras was a breeze and very easy with step by step instructions on the Arlo app. Even though I could have used my original Arlo router, I set up the new one that came with the Pro 2 cameras, all is backward compatible so I also installed my original Arlo cameras on the new router too. Im glad Netgear didn’t leave us early adopters in the dust and allowed backward compatibility which is great to see. The Pro 2 have HD recording in 1080p, night vision and Two way communication. All works flawlessly. As for the batteries, thankfully Arlo now has rechargeable batteries that you can recharge by plugging into the supplied plug or you can purchase (as I did) the battery charger that can accomodate charging 2 batteries at a time. Rechargeable batteries are much more convenient than having to replace 4 batteries every time they are depleted. I have my cameras go on motion sensing recording every night at 11PM through 6AM, this give me peace of mind and will record any incidents etc when needed. You can also check on any of the cameras whenever you want from wherever you are with the app which is very convenient. If you want a flexible camera system in HD with some great options the Arlo Pro 2 System is the way to go.

I bought these and at first they worked well. Now 6 months later the videos come in pixelated. I’m disappointed. Night vision is ok but works best with a flood light.

Security is important for me and I’m glad I purchased this product.

Low battery life, can be interfered with, and support is not that great. Worked well when it did work which was seldom.

Purchased with a solar panel and it went out within days. I think it was defective but best buy did exchange for a brand new panel and camera because it was within my 14 days.

Opened up package 2 find one battery was completely dead, the other camera had a 10 second delay on live feed also very blurry video

Easy set up and no wires to route. On the pricey side but I got mines on Black Friday.
