They work great at picking up motion almost perfectly. Like others have said, it does have a delay. Ours seems like a 5 second delay, but at is helpful regardless. Its nice being able to keep an eye on your house when nobody's home.

Good quality but definitely has to be a townhouse or apartment to get good signal if putting outside. I will say is the last time I use wireless because I have two charge the one outside at least every other week.

NEEDS MORE THEN 1 Outdoor permanent attachment

Went in for the Arlo = Pro 2 3 camera Indoor/Outdoor Wireless, but the salesman said that the only difference was this one gave you 4 cameras instead of 3. WRONG... you got 4 cameras, but instead of permanent attachments for each one, you were only given one. NEED at least 3 for outdoors. Where you would have to unscrew to charge, they gave magnetic cameras to attachments. Problem is the cameras can easily be taken down and stolen. Too many have told us not to get the magnetic ones. The magnetic would be nice if dishonest people didn't exist or the price to replace this item wasn't so much. Otherwise the reason for wanting this particular one, was because the unit itself has been raved about. If you only require 1 outdoor unit, then it's for you!

I live in the country so our wifi is susceptible to having outages or being notoriously slow. However, our 6 camera Arlo Pro 2 system is surpassing my expectations. We are so pleased with the quality of the pictures, the ease of using the app, and the freedom it provides to move cameras around if you wish to capture various locations on a whim. Glad I did my research and it led me to Arlo! Super pleased.

A great system and easy setup. I did not think I would use the mag mount, but they work great, especially if you use a ladder to install. The only drawback is the sensitivity of the cameras, but once I learned to adjust the sensitivity settings, no problem, well except for my US Flag. The flag has to be moved, it sets off the camera, even on a low sensitivity setting. I am going to move the flag.

The Arlo Pro 2 is a great purchase. The cameras are easy to mount, the picture quality is great and the app works flawlessly. Arlo makes a top notch product here. You won't be disappointed with this and you will have the piece of mind that your house is protected. I also love that I can check in on the cameras anytime I want to during the day with a simple click. Do yourself a favor and buy this one!

I went with the Arlo 2 because of the higher resolution of the cameras. The 1st version was only 720p. I've seen too many fuzzy pictures on the news of people stealing things and all you could see was their general shape maybe the type of clothes they were wearing. These cameras have a decent resolution and I am able to connect to them through my phone and my Samsung TV with the SmartThings app. They are in standby mode until they detect movement, my dogs set them off quite a bit going in and out of the house. You have to activate them one at a time but it didn't take too long. The only challenge was figuring out which one was which. I finally spread them out around the inside of my house according to where I planned to put them and then I was able to name them appropriately through the app.

Very simple to setup. Quality is excellent. Only downside is you can’t define zones within camera view to ignore motion unless camera is powered my cord. Defeats the purpose of wireless cameras.

Product installed by your staff. Some questions were not answered correctly. Night vision poor and battery almost exhausted in 3 weeks? Got several answers as to why? Still not resolved. Like the convenience without cords.

I enjoy the mobility of the Pro2 cameras. Picture quality is great and brightness adjustment works well. I wish there was a way to turn off the alerts without turning off the camera. Maybe there is....I just haven't figured it out yet.

The Arlo unit took only a few minutes to setup and get working. much faster and easier that The RING cameras. also the app runs faster as well. only drawback the use have to use a base-station that can cause some connection issues if cameras are far away.

It took me only a few hours to review the instructions and set the system up. GREAT video, color, sound. Battery life is pretty good, but I ordered AC wiring for two cameras, so I can use the two batteries for my other two cameras. Swapping the batteries out about every 10 days. If you can, get the wired setup. I am extremely happy with my ARLO system.

    Not worth it!

I purchased the 6 camera set. Only supports 5 cameras on the included service. Been dealing with customer support for 3 weeks 6th camera still not added on service, it’s supposed to be included in the free service since I purchased the 6 camera set. Definitely not worth the price. Just buy a wired set for half the cost and have it installed with the savings. Company clearly doesn’t care about its customers.

The arlo 2 is a 1080 hd camera, not the highest resolution available but this version of the arlo cameras includes 7 day rolling cloud service which works great. I did a preliminary setup on my livingroom table, made an arlo account, added base station, added cameras and did firmware updates before mounting. I had to order extra exterior mounting brackets and the definitely need to be battery powered or you will constantly be removing batteries and recharging. This would be ok for interior use, but exterior use , with constant movement t of plants in the wind, and your power gets battery gobbled up. I do recommend arlo pro 2, dispite the high up front cost, the free could storage will make it cheaper than other alternatives. No DVR to maintain, etc.
