I did a fair amount of research and spent nearly two hours with the sales person and none of these issues were mentioned. Buyer beware! CONS: In the 77 page instruction book that discusses all the features and how to use them, only once at the bottom of a paragraph on page 29 does it mention that you will need to purchase a subscription in order to have access to recordings after the initial 3-month trial. By the time you realize how worthless this system is without a subscription you can no longer return them. Battery life ranges from 1-3 WEEKS! One of my cameras says to charge the battery immediately after installing a freshly charged battery. The activity zones feature only works if you buy a $50 power cable, drill holes through your walls, and install a wire for your "wire-free" camera system. The base constantly loses connection with individual cameras, sometimes all cameras. The cameras go off every minute or two on windy days regardless of turning the sensitivity setting down to the lowest setting. It gives so many notifications for useless motion that you quickly become desensitized to it going off and don't even look to see what it is. The actual effective wi-fi range is closer to 30'-40', not 300 as advertised. There is at least a 10-15 second delay in receiving notification. The connection lag makes the 2-way audio feature absolutely worthless. You only get one master account so your spouse will only have access to certain features and functions. The app the runs the system is painfully slow and sometimes doesn't work or makes you re-login. Recording playback is usually slow and jerky. Waaaaaay overpriced for their performance. PROS: The picture quality is pretty good for a security camera. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, especially those that have not used the system for more than a couple weeks. I feel sick to my stomach about this purchase.

Straight forward configuration, excellent range and picture quality. Mobile app is easy to use without any training. I highly recommend these and will be purchasing more in the future.

I was excited to see the Pro 3 arrive. My first thought was that it was not a very large package for 4 cameras and head end. It was very easy to set everything up. I first watched a tutorial program on U Tube. After I installed the cameras I was really impressed of the quality of the videos. My only concern is the cameras shut down when it gets around 0 degrees. But then again not much happens when it is that cold out.

Big fan of Arlo systems very easy to install picture quality, very good . Needs longer battery life

1. With lots of activities every day each recharge lasts up to around five days. 2. The system is wireless but battery recharging is kind of awkward and inconvenient (noticed by neighbors), I therefore, created a permanent charging in place with 4 magnetic charging cables and Power USB so I don’t have climb up and down when recharging is needed- just plug the power cord to the power outlet till totally recharged (around 2 hrs/ recharge)

I love my arlo pro camera system! It's hands down better than any other camera system on the market. Picture quality, sound, night vision, and the battery life if 6 months plus!

Love the app, camera is good quality and video but I feel like I’m recharging them very frequently.

Arlo really shines with Excellent QHD picture quality & motion detection 2nd to none! Beats google Nest with more user friendly setup and personalized control application.

This is the second Arlo system that I have purchased. the first one was for my home a year ago and this one is for my business. The new system (Pro 3) picture quality is awesome! I'm a little conflicted with the light on the cameras. I'm sure that it helps with the picture quality but I also like that intruders may not know that they are being recorded or, even where cameras are located with my home (Pro 2) system. Installation and configuration were extremely easy which is what I need because I am inept when it comes to computers. BTW, I don't use the communication side of it.

First off the video footage is amazing. You dont need 4K this is almost perfect. Why 3 stars? Well i was gonna give it 2 but i figured 3 was more fair. 1. Customer service is absolutely horrible. They have no clue how it works and arent interested in even trying to help you fix it. I was told my cameras werent connecting to the network because of Covid. So if you didnt already know it now you do Covid can infect cameras. 2. Wifi range is horrible. I cant even get a camera to connect 70ft away from the base. I have ended up buying a second base station to be able to connect all my cameras. If your house has walls and isnt a wide open floorplan I wish you luck. 3. The app to run the system is an absolute pile of junk. Simplistic things like scheduling times to be on and off are either complex or they dont work. I could go on about the app for hours but the short of it is it sucks. Read up on this system on reddit before you buy it. Would i buy it again? I dont know honestly. Im getting used to it now to where its not as annoying but knowing what i know now i probably wouldnt buy it but i cant say that 100%. Do more research than I did before you make this purchase thats for sure.

They are amazing, I really recommend them. Easy setup, I mean, really easy setup and they are outdoor proof against everything, they are also 2k recording!!!.

We bought the 6 pack of these. They're decent but I get annoyed with them not connecting and not being able to connect a lot to talk back into them from my phone. It said we got a 30 day free trial yet we were charged immediately for the monthly subscription. Plus I get so tired of always having to charge the batteries on 6 cameras.

While traveling from California to vegas to clear out my uncles estate we needed to install security system as we would be leaving a 1968 GTO clasic car until we could make another trip, it worked out great I was able to check outside and inside it let me know of any motion detected such as when a delivery was being made I was able to let them know to leave it next door otherwise who knows what would have happened to the package with all the porch pilots these days I was able to check on the car And that gave me piece of mind.

At first, I was concerned about the battery life but getting the solar panel charger with it put away all my concerns. It is easy to use and install. Great product!

I upgraded from the Pro 2, really not much of an improvement other than the built in light. The camera seemed to lag an go offline often but recently it seems to have improved, not sure if there was a firmware update. Overall improved camera, spot light is a very feature. If it wasn't for the recent price drop I would say keep the Pro2. Probably the Ultra would be better but its price is just too high.

I love the image quality, ease of use and setup. They give you multiple options on how to mount it. The magnet is extremely strong. You definitely get what you pay for.

great picture and quality. Easy to use and connect to mobile phone. Easy to setup. Works off a hub station though, so distance apart can be limited.

Excellent quality cameras. Work well and easy to mount. Only con is to pricey.

The installation is extremely easy and the picture quality is outstanding. The installation videos on the Arlo website was very helpful as well.

I love how simple and easy the Arlo Pro3 system is to setup. The cameras produce crystal clear video, and the smart notifications are incredibly helpful!
