Saw all the positive reviews online so felt confident in my recent purchase of our new Arlo Pro 3. But immediately had issues connecting it to the WiFi router and charging the cameras. The documentation is vague to say the least and unclear. They make it look so easy from our quick start paper. There was no indicator to let us know any of the cameras were charged even though we had each of them charging for 6+ hours. So first things first ...we needed to link our Arlo SmartHub to our router. So the phone number I called was closed for the evening so had to do the live chat. Talk about a nightmare! First had to wait 40 minutes to have an agent chat with me. Stayed on the chat with him for over an hour and finally got frustrated cause everything he had us try did not work. Hung up and ended up returning the unit and bought another one with our fingers crossed. Had the exact same issue with this new one. So my wife tried it from her phone and it worked immediately. We are still baffled as we have the exact same IPhone 11. We bought them at the exact same time. She was able to connect the hub and I wasn’t. Super frustrating. Then I called the next day on the phone to find out what indicators would tell us when the cameras were charged. The online documentation was not clear on this. But we found a blog on it and it said a blue light will stay on solid blue when it’s done charging. Well we charged all 3 cameras overnight for 6+ hours and not one of our 3 cameras ever had a solid blue light come on. So spent 50 minutes waiting for a customer service rep. When I finally got a hold of a rep, I asked my simple question as to what indicator do I have to let me know the camera is finished charging. Well she wasn’t understanding my question and kept telling me something not associated with my problem. I said apparently we are having trouble communicating to one another. Can I ask you what country you are from. She said she was in the Philippines. I said obviously there is a cultural communication issue. Can I please speak to someone in the United States. She said my choices are Philippines or India. U.S. is not an option. I was devastated that I was having issues with this simple question. After going back and forth multiple times she told me I had to link the camera to the hub/network first in order to get the solid blue light indicator to come on. We had already done that with one of the cameras and still no solid blue light came on. I said not to mention the documentation is very misleading as it states to fully charge the cameras before doing anything additional with them, as they were only partially charged. So I hung 30 minutes later so very dissatisfied with the answer I was given. Not to mention had trouble hearing her over the roosters crowing in the background. I kid you not. So far I am not impressed with our Arlo unit nor their customer service which is surely lacking. Very disappointed in our purchase.

Does what we need well and easy install. We are using it in a commercial space and it's great and with the audio we will also be using it for training purposes. Wish you didn't need an apple tv for the live stream function I am sure that is coming though.

We just got these but they work wonderfully. Good image quality even at night.

I’m very pleased with the set up and images. It’s exactly what they advertise.

They have great quality, love the fact of a two-way audio. I like being able to adjust the speed on the motion detections and even the sound for the audio. The only thing I don’t like about it is for you to be able to get video clips saved than you have to pay a monthly fee but you do get a 1yr free trail. Over all I’m happy with them just still figuring out what all they can do.

This product is easy to setup and has great video app. The app is well thought out.
