Great for checking; poor for auto intrusion detect

The 2K provides a lot of detail and works well with the software for digitally zooming in on faces, etc. HOWEVER, I have a setup where I am using an Arlo Security Light to trigger one of the cams to record when the Light detects motion. Once triggered, the Arlo Smart Cloud is supposed to alert me AND record a video clip from the cam. THIS FUNCTION IS INCREDIBLY UNRELIABLE. It works maybe 50% of the time. So, if you are looking for excellent cameras that you can use to remotely check on things, the Arlo Pro 3 is great. If you are expecting it to act to automatically alert you to intrusions, it is NOT reliable.

Great picture, slow alerts!

I had some difficulty getting the "zones" set so that I would get alerts on my driveway, but not from the street! Also the alerts are delayed from a few to several seconds, which was not anticipated!

Great video quality, horrible battery life

Would not recommend these without purchasing the solar panels. It will record every piece of audio.

The experience has been great, except for the battery life issue In high traffic areas in my home. The arlo Software and cloud storage works great.

They are all mounted outside and connected to a solar panel to keep them charged. Having the year round California sun ensures they stay above 90% charged at all times. They are great at capturing people/animals/cars within 15-20 feet but not beyond that.
