Use to use and easy to install. Has a clear picture

Super happy senior with this 4 camera system. I installed 3 outside and I kept one loose and portable to set up anywhere I choose in the future. I purchased 25 ft charging cords and connected them to the cameras from 3 outdoor outlets I have around my home. My system remains 100% charged at all times.

Arlo cameras are the best. I love this product and recommend it to all my family and friends. This is so easy to install and so easy to use on the app on your phone. Once you read the instructions and understand how easy it is to use. You will be happy with this product and use it all the time.

Great picture but needs more range on motion sensor. Often doesn't pick up movement until almost out of picture taking view. Also, night vision needs improvement.

The Arlo Pro 3 camera system is the perfect upgrade to my Pro 2. Setup couldn’t have been easier, just plug in the Smart Hub base station, load the app (which I already had), find the base then add the two cameras which were already paired to the base. Transitioning my existing Pro 2 cameras was also just as simple, although it did require a button press on each camera to link to the new Smart Hub. The cameras are well built and feel like quality devices. Charging the batteries with the new magnetic charging cable is much easier. Charging from the camera takes about 3.5 hours to full charge but the batteries are rated to last up to 6 months; time will tell on this. The cameras are waterproof and can be installed anywhere, indoors or out, which brings me to my first disappointment. The kit contains one permanent mount and one magnetic mount. At this price point, I would have liked two of each as both cameras will be used for outdoor use. The image on the Pro 3 is wider and larger than the 1080 views on the Pro 2. It’s crystal clear in bright light as well as in low light and at night. The built-in spotlight is a great feature and lights up dark areas either manually or automatically when the camera senses motion. Speaking of low light, unlike the 2’s, the Pro 3 cameras are in color, even in the dark. The field of view is also wider and there is a zoom feature. I am able to see my entire front yard, driveway, front door and most of the street with a camera mounted about 15 feet from the ground over my front door. The cameras also have duplex audio so you can speak to through it to anyone, like a delivery driver to give direction or to let an unwanted know you see them. There is also a built-in siren in each camera which differs from the Pro 2 which has a siren but it's in the base station. The cameras detect motion and notify when they do. Using the Arlo service, you can also have them contact 911. Using the app you can define active zones to minimize false alarms. Three months of complementary service is included with the purchase, after that you need to choose one of the paid offerings or use the restricted free service. You can also add a USB drive to capture video locally which is a really nice feature. If you don’t have your phone, you can also access your cameras via any web browser. Only having the system set up for a couple of days, I am really pleased with it. I have one camera mounted in a location that requires a ladder to access so hopefully the rated battery life is close. I will also be getting an external charger and battery, so I don’t have to take the whole unit down and reset the view every time it needs recharged. This is my 2nd Arlo system and I highly recommend it for anyone who is just looking for a camera only security system. Note I only gave four stars due to the need to purchase additional mounting hardware. If you plan on using one camera outdoors and one inside, add the extra star for five.

Super easy to set up and battery life seems amazing.

I use Arlo and this purchase was a gift. Recipient is very please with system and technology. Motion spotlight is a nice feature with these units I do not have. Once you get sensitivity settings right the battery will last several months. Need to have a little tech savvy to figure out all the features.

Meh - the device needs to be close to the WiFi station and in an older house with solid walls, this limits where you can deploy the cameras. Image is great.

I have all of mine indoors, my router is at the center of my home, the reception is amazing. I read reviews where folks were having issues, I am not one of them. I highly recommend this product, Arlo Pro 3 cameras. I then purchased a another Pro 3 Camera it tied in to the system with no issues. Very happy with this product.

Arlo has many years of experience now making these wireless security systems and it shows. I upgraded to this from an original Arlo Pro system that never failed us. It has been great and this upgrade has been even better. Better resolution better response time and very easy setup.

Arlo Security Cameras (specifically these "Pro 3" cameras) are "top rated" if you believe the reviews you will read about them online. But these are high dollar, 3rd rate pieces of crap. They work inconsistently - Often they "detect & record" movement that is clearly OUTSIDE of the "Activity Zones." Often they do NOT detect movement that is IN the "Activity Zones." This is exactly the opposite of how they are supposed to function. And since they are constantly "detecting & recording," the battery life suffers dramatically. I have had 3 of my cameras totally drain their batteries within 72 hours and then I have to charge them again. Depending upon where you locate your cameras, this can be extraordinarily wearying. They are unreliable and untrustworthy. My system also arbitrarily chose to shift to "schedule mode" where it only operates between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Mine did this and consequently failed to record criminal activity at my home that happened overnight - twice. Tech support is friendly and I believe they sincerely try to help, but at the end of the day they give very little assistance unless you badger them night and day - and even then, they are usually slow to respond. I would not waste my money with these expensive pieces of bovine excrement.

This product is worthless!!!! It worked great for about 8 months and then it started lagging the connection kept disconnecting I took a camera down to recharge and when I reinstalled it it wouldn’t give me live feed anymore and then the others followed. Don’t buy this brand they suck!!!! Waste of my money peace of mind my butt!!

very good image the magnetic mounts work like a charm

When it is working, it does an excellent job - exactly what is described and quite frankly, what you payed for. When it doesn't, their support service is horrible - worst I've ever encountered. No live option - repetitive Bot on chat - when you do get someone on chat it's like an endless loop of questions/confirmations with a healthy sprinkle of long gaps of silence in-between. Was dropped numerous times while chatting with tech support - accident??? If I wasn't already in on the hardware front I would find another option.

Setting up these cameras was super simple! So simple I had to get the grandparents some. Even they were able to set them up. The detection of the objects (animal, person, car, package) is amazing. Video quality is great! I have not needed anything else like the voice or alarm but I be it's great

Great camera system. I added this to a Base Station that I got a couple of years ago with Arlo Pro 2 cameras. The connected together and the additional base station improved connectivity for a couple of my cameras. Great quality product!

Got this to keep a safe eye on elderly Mom in law who is a bit wobbly. Works great. although I wish it didn't notify me every min of movement. Perhaps once would be nice. But it keeps a charge well, and we can peek in on her when ever we feel the need. She feels safer so its a Win Win
