    First off, please allow me to state, with humility, that I have what some may consider well-above average experience within the high tech and security industries for both residential and commercial applications. I decided to give Arlo a 2nd chance since a colleague advised me of their vast improvement. With that said, within the past 5 years, this has been my 2nd purchase of Arlo (fka Netgear) cameras (residential grade), and just as the first time, they’ve proven to be very disappointing. In my opinion, it seems like Arlo desperately wants people to sign up for their cloud storage/analytics service - somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 per camera, per month (at the time of publication). After the “free” trial period, and without the monthly subscription, the live view resolution drops to sub HD levels (even on WiFi), it produces false alerts nearly everyday (I have monitored cameras with zero movement/activity and Arlo will still send me 4+ activity notifications even though nothing is happening), you get ZERO recording retention (unless you connect your own storage device), and annoying in-app advertising to save X% off if you subscribe to their service. No thank you, Arlo!

    I like the wire free cameras and how easy they are to setup and the video quality is great. However the cameras has a lag of about 10 which to me is too much.

    Had (4) Pro 2 cameras and they were great never experienced a failure to record movement. Well that all changed when I got (6) Pro 3 cameras. I can not trust them to record movement 100% of the time. I’ve had several instances where they failed at distances of 10 to 20 feet. It got so bad I had to walk past all my cameras to make sure they were working they even missed my jeep and truck coming up the driveway a couple of times. I think the Pro 3 has a weaker signal than the Pro 2 because I noticed it on the signal strength meter with both cameras at the same location. I have lost all confidence in these cameras and would not recommend these to anyone

    2k is a good quality and the camera's work well but I have other camera's from other companies that don't charge for 24hr review of the day. They want to charge $10 for half a day on ONE camera. I have 7 cameras, so that would quickly turn into a $140 monthly payment. That alone gives me reason to stick to another service that offers this feature for free. Other features are e911 and siren if someone breaks in which is also $10 a month. It's not per camera, but it's still a monthly charge to use this feature.

    The worst camera ever does not detect motion unless the target is around 5 feet away from the camera. it has a huge delay to get notifications on the App and takes forever to load up. I bought the cameras brand new and 1 of the cameras arrived scratched and seemed to be used before. I will return the cameras as they have all these issues and can't get any help.

    ive had a lot of issues with battery draining super fast in areas where I barely have activity. I had to get a replacement camera btw these are very expensive

    One of the cameras the siren does not work straight from the box. The app on the phone freezes and takes awhile for video motivations to load or live view to load.

    I was unaware that you HAD to subscribe monthly to use this product. Batteries need recharging frequently due to my dogs.

    Bought this cameras for my house for when I'm out of town and it never let's me see live view it's always says getting status. I call arlo support for help too fix this problem and apparently they don't know what they are doing. Bought the Ring cameras and they work great I wouldn't recommend buying this arlo unless you want too trow your money to the garbage
