The quality isn't much better than the Arlo pro 2 but has a wider view, but if they would record and send you notifications that would be awesome. That's the whole point of having these cameras right? Fed up and stressed with Arlo cameras which I was told they were the best cameras out.

The Arlo Pro 3 cameras are easy to put up since they do not need to be wired. Easy to set up by downloading the app, creating a username and password if you don't already have an account, and naming the cameras. It's just a few steps and you're ready to view video. The free 90-day subscription is great to get you started. It connected easily to Google Home with no problems I had them up and running within minutes and watching video stream. The video comes in nice and clear in color even in the dark. The sound is clear both ways. Zooming in does adds pixelation to the video. There is a slight lag in both video and sound. The spotlight lights up brightly and the ability to manually activate it whenever I want is great. Another great feature of the Arlo Pro 3 is the ability to save video locally with an external hard drive. The magnets to hold the camera, as well as the charging cable, are very strong and I feel they will stay securely in place. Overall I feel this is a very good, very easy camera set to use for those who, like myself, want peace of mind without having to wire in a system or hire someone to do it.

Average camera with similar ones out there for half the price. Spotlight is weak and you need to be right near it to have a chance of identifying anyone.

Would not purchase this again. Batteries need charging daily which means climbing up, removing, charging, back up to replace then need to realign them.

This is my first time using the Arlo Security cameras and I am rather pleased with the easy setup and ease of use ability. Everything was completed with the Arlo app and installing was a simple task. All tool parts are included with 2 different mounts included. The 2K resolution is good, but there are pixelation when zooming in. There is also a 2-6 second lag from real time when viewing a live feed. The sensors are very good once you set the area and strength you want for the detection. The Pro 3 is compatible with Google Home and Alexa but does NOT support Apple Homekit (yet). There are subscription fees if you want video recording and enhanced features. Battery life for the cameras are amazing and are rated at a 5-6 month long life. I believe in this day and age, having a security camera is a must and I think Arlo nailed it with their hardware. Thanks.

The manufacturer or the seller doesn't reveal this at the time of buying that half the functions and utilities will stop after 3 months and the buyer will be forced to sign up for a recurring fee to continue to get what was shown. This includes object detection, videos access over internet, cameras power consumption settings.

This is Worthless!!! I can watch Ups truck come to my house, get out, drop off packages, drive off without these cameras ever alerting me. Like it never happened!!! This is every day. On top of that, you have to pay to watch a timeline. I paid to have timeline & it said I needed to be connected to a power cord. Mine are solar powered bc I don’t have outlet near it. So I can’t even watch a timeline. Useless!!!

Great cameras, easy set up. Automatically gives you a free trial so you assume that everything works. Then a few months down the road, bam! They stop recording and you can't return them. I have the original Arlos and didn't realize that they removed features that are included with the original cameras. Now I'm stuck with cameras that don't do what I need them to do unless I pay 10 bucks a month. BE AWARE!

System went offline a few days before our free trial ended. Whipped out a credit card and paid the monthly subscription. Nothing. According to tech support the hardware we bought two months ago for almost $1300 needs a firmware update. Cost $180. Without this update the entire system is garbage. Does not work at all. I don't trust these guys with my money or my security anymore.
