Upgraded from the original Arlo system. Great 2K video. The mic picks up sounds well and my neighbor’s voices when they’re near my driveway. At times some of the cameras go offline and they’re not far away from the base.

Good indoor outdoor security system. This works well with the home Wi-Fi, and generally does a good job when there is movement and the cameras turn on appropriately. Picture is not always as good as I would like.

The video is good but the better features cost a monthly fee and sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes to get notified. About 50% of the time I get notified right away but the other 50% take 1 to 5 minutes. (normally closer to one)

The color picture is HD quality. The motion detection reaches out a very good distance. and as for battery life, I cant say because I installed solar panel chargers on all my cameras and they are staying at 100%.

Great system to use for home monitoring. Very easy to setup and good quality cameras. I’m not a big fan of the monthly fee to keep recorded videos in the cloud, but you can add your own memory cards. I haven’t had any issues as long as the camera is in range of wifi.

I had been researching security cameras for years and decided the price was right at Best Buy to get one. The Arlo Pro 3, 4 camera set seemed perfect. Out of the box, cameras seemed high quality. The wireless hub felt like a kids toy. Very light, felt cheap, but when I plugged it in, set it up, it worked liked it should. I set up the first camera and all worked well. I set up the 2nd camera and when trying to adjust the angle, the phone app would state there is no wi-fi connection. I'd check the router and the hub and all were fine with lights and connection. My phone had both wi-fi and phone service connection. So I would close and re-open the app. Sometimes it would work briefly but most of the time i would have to unplug hub and then it would work for a few minutes. 2 hours later, I got the 2nd camera up. I did not try other cameras as I wanted to see how these would do. In monitoring, it was touch and go trying to view live. Sometimes connection was there and other times it wasn't. When viewing the captures, it would be continually off-line, more than online. The blue light showed it was connected to router, router would be fine and phone had signal. This became too frustrating, so I returned it. The video quality was pretty good, but seemed to be more 1080p than 2K as the fine details don't seem to be there. The quality though is pretty good though. I cannot speak on other capabilities though as the camera would not stay connected. BTW, wi-fi signal on phone and my system at home was working fine throughout this process. We don't use cable or satellite tv and strictly stream, so wi-fi is essential and was always working. The Arlo system seemed like a good system when it worked, but unfortunately for me, it didn't work more than it worked.

The Arlo pro 3 is a great camera to have, the video quality is great but if you are planning to use the Arlo cloud recording or you have a lot of activity outside your house, be prepared to get an extension cord and keep it plugged in 24/7 in to an electrical outlet. If you have a lot of activity outside your home (people walk/jogging cars driving by) the battery will die within a day or 2. I even turned the motion sensitive to its lowest level to try saving on battery life but by doing that you miss all your notifications and that defeats the purpose of having an outdoor camera.

Purchased these, easy set up, picture quality is great. I would give it 5 stars but battery depletion is rather quick so that’s why I only gave it 3 stars.

biggest downside is subscription requirements per camera, obviously, but honestly it was shocking that this was free for so long. Video quality is great, app works well, rarely any connectivity issues and the furthest camera is a solid 75 ft from the base. Can easily pull up live feed via alexa/firetv or see it on my iphone app from anywhere. distinction of animal, person, vehicle is a huge development from the original arlos. addition of audio recording is also significant, along with the inclusion of rechargeable batteries. These batteries used about 70% of their charge in 6 weeks in my most actively triggered camera, and 60% in the other two. recharge in maybe 4-5 hours tops with included chargers.

Finally decided to equip the workplace with a security camera system and Arlo was recommended. Very easy to install and works like a charm. So far I'm very pleased with my purchase and am now thinking of buying a setup for my home! Definitely gives peace of mind that everything is safe and protected.

Cameras are very easy to set up and the picture quality is great. The flood light that comes on is brighter than I expected, was able to add my older arlo pro 2 cameras easily. Ive had arlo for several years now, great value for what you pay and will continue to buy in future.

Easy set up and get value for the price. Camera quality is top notch. The wind is no friend to the cameras but, you can tweak with the settings to decrease the sensitivity. Over all, great product.

The picture quality is great. Night vision could be better. It is better than my other camera (Defender) though. The sound is ify. Sometimes they can hear me. Sometimes it breaks up. My guess is it is the phone connection. It is hard to hear people on camera unless listening from a computer with headphones. Hate that you have to go through a service to see live footage and for timeline viewing. Haven't tried the USB backup yet. May be able to go through the timeline using that. Our other camera was more than half the cost and does everything almost as well except for sound. Plus it goes through your wifi...meaning you don't have to use a service to see live viewing or a timeline. If Arlo can fix this, I would rate the cameras really high.

High quality video camera with easy to use app and push alerts. Includes motion sensor spotlight as well as a night vision video recording capability. It also allows for live streaming playback via mobile app. I purchased this as part of a promotion that included a 3rd Arlo camera for free.

We have had them for about a month and have been very pleased. Picture quality is good. Motion sensing is good. We tried Blink but took them back after 1 day. The Arlo cameras are much much better.

Useful features, motion is sensitive, the zone activity feature is ok , 2way communication is cool, siren is loud- thumbs up spotlight kills the battery though, all in all I’d buy more of them.

Overall this is a good product. The camera has a lot of issues with false alerts. Tried for two weeks to adjust the alert zones but still having issues with false alerts. The build quality is ok not great. The video quality is excellent. As for battery life, it's not great. If you have a lot of alerts the battery life is BAD. This is where the Arlo still just not there. You need to tweak all APP setting to just make the notification to be tolerable. I would give the camera five stars if Arlo zones and alerts worked better. But overall its GOOD.

Im new to the cameras, and this is a great way to get into it. Great quality, notifications for motion work perfectly, LIVE view is smooth and clear, Mic and speaker built in work excellent with the Arlo doorbell to actually call your phone and open a LIVE video and audio feed with a camera. Very cool.

4 camera system was easy to install, setup, and monitor. The motion activation records with great quality. Learning curve to learn all the features, but all in all it does what I expected - captures activity, sends alerts, stores recordings - all from a simple iOS app. Great job.
