This is my first security camera system. The batteries die after one week of use with all the options (night vision, motion detection, cloud saves) on. Charging the batteries is another chore because you need to unscrew the full camera to plug it into the charger, if you want to just charge the battery, you need to pay a lot of money to buy a separate charger. The worst thing is it usually captures motion after all the action is done. I set up one camera by my front door. One day there was a car accident right outside my house but the camera only got the aftermath of the crash, it completely missed the crash itself even though the cars screeched loudly just before the crash to trigger the auto capture. Overall, I’m not impressed with it and I would go with another option.

Easy to install, great shots of areas selected. Good color. The only thing I wish that could be improved is the delay in notifying me of movement. I have 3 areas monitored and it seems to take several seconds before I am notified of a person, animal or motion in these areas.

The cameras work great! The resolution is great. The cameras will pick up people, animals, and vehicles and classify them as such. You can even set zones within the camera view to receive notifications. This is very useful. I would recommend these to others. This will cover a large house but the signal will weaken if it's too far from the base unit. Ideally, you have these plugged in all the time as well.

We got NO help at either Vallejo or Pleasant Hill stores. We went on utube to learn what we needed to know and actually inform the store staff for what they should have been telling us. I installed the cameras myself and my wife did all the rest of the set-ups. We are less than satisfied with the battery life as I am constantly changing them out and charging them. I am 80 tears old and ladders are on my do not use list. There is a manual on line but very hard to use. It is very hard to read a six inch page on a two inch iPhone screen. Where is the paper manual? I am thinking we wasted over $1000.00 for all this frustration.

Overall the camera works good. But my little dogs trigger the motion sensors all the time. The camera records every time the dogs walk by, reducing battery life to about 1 week. Had to buy 2 extra batteries and a charger to be able to exchange low batteries. Not to happy with that.
