Love these cameras. They are very easy to use. Love that they have a speaker and you can talk to the person by the camera. It also detects if there is an animal, person or vehicle -amazing. They also have a spot light great cameras. Great choice.

I upgraded, or so I thought, from the Arlo Q camera set. I was using the Q for indoor and outdoor use even though it's not meant for outdoor. I had 1 setup for the front door and was covered under our porch and it worked just fine. I loved the fact it had free storage for 7 days through the cloud. The Pro 3 cameras don't have quite the same quality as the Q's do. They claim to have 2k quality but I noticed they are more grainy than the Q. My biggest complaint with these camera's is the setup within the app. Going from Q, I thought it would be the same. I was way wrong. I had each of my Q's setup to record during specific times of day. You cannot do that with the Pro 3. Well, you can but it is extremely difficult. You can't setup each camera, rather, you have to create rules for cameras and then setup a schedule and add rules and hope those rules work within the schedule you want. Way too difficult to figure out for the price of these. Netgear should make their app a little more user friendly. So, I'm returning these and having some wired camera's installed today so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Battery life isn't bad but you probably won't get 6 months. Maybe 3 before needing to be charged. AND....you only get 1 charger in a pack of 2 which is stupid. If you just want a completely wireless camera for basic use, this wouldn't be bad but I'd probably try to find another set if I were you

Easy to install. Simple to connect to WiFi. Immediately starts working how you want it too. Not much of anything has to be done in settings to make it perfect. App is easy to use and turn on/off camera and/or alarm them.

Great system. This is easy to install, easy to use and provides decent images (2K). The motion sensors are great and capture movement effectively. I also bought it at a great price. Certainly worth the price.

I like all the features. Wish it had 180% viewing instead of 160. Picture is pretty good but batteries don’t last that long

I purchased this in February because I wanted a system that could use local storage for videos rather than paying forever for a cloud service. I've spent over a month with what passes for customer service regarding a camera that only shows a series of stripes on the screen as I try to monitor it through the Arlo app. If you contact tech support they'll wait 2 days, respond, then tell you that you have from 7 to 4 days to reply (I don't know why that changes) or they'll drop the case. To add insult to injury, once the free cloud storage offer expired the system has lost any ability to record to my local storage, and all the "smart" features have disappeared. I'm not concerned about the special features, but the loss of any functional local storage has turned the cameras into little more than a pair of $400.00+ motion detector lights. I've done everything as far as trouble shooting goes that the tech support has asked with no positive resolution. All I get is another message from someone else asking me to reinstall the cameras to the base station or switch camera locations. Then I have to report back within the allotted time or the case is considered closed. Email support involves clicking on a link on a "do not reply" email to you to reply, so its not possible to create a coherent communication chain with anyone particular person at tech support. you just get to go through the same routine with different people over....and over. I advise anyone wanting to purchase this system to go to Redditt and look through R\Arlo and read some of the user experiences.

Camera quality is really good. Only the main user can access certain aspects of the app, so make sure you set it up under the main user. It is SUPER sensitive. Constantly having it go off simply from a car passing at night and the very edge of the screen has light from the head lights. Tried to alter the detection but it didn't help. Still would recommend. Know that if someone wanted to though, they can come up and just take the camera as they are secured magnetically to the mount.

Arlo cameras offer a superior security options and video quality with relative ease of use. Setup is a breeze and the 2k quality video is amazing. Member Price point at BB was definitely the added incentive to upgrade.

The only reason why I did not give five stars is due to the battery life. If the camera is in a high traffic area and constantly records several times a day the battery will only last a couple of weeks. That being said I bought 2 spare batteries and just change. I takes 3 minutes per camera to change. Overall the camera is great and beats having to run wires all over the house. Side note - The camera catches everything and has not missed a beat. The spot light feature is fantastic as well. You will not be disappointed.

decent camera system. the wireless cameras are the reason i got it for ease of install. good picture and plenty of options. only down side is i turned off animal detection because of all the squirrels, so now i still get alerts for them because its noticing motion now. figured it would be a bit smarter to figure it out. and i dont really care for the magnetic mounts and the screw in mounts are on the expensive side along with all the accessories. would definitely buy again.

After having two of the wheels stolen off of my wife’s car in our driveway, I went the same day and picked these up. They installed in about 30 minutes total, and all had about 70% battery remaining. It couldn’t have been easier. The only recommendation is to definitely set your capture zone so that your batteries don’t end up dead in two days. Other than that, they are very clear with the 2k live view and they are essential to any home. I would buy them again.

This is good wireless security camera. I haven't delved into it deeply and played around with it yet, but it has all needed basics. Hi Def camera. Low light and infrared. Spotlight that can be set to go off, or not. I'm still in the free trial, so I'm not paying for the subscription, yet. I'm hoping they get the app to work with local storage. They are supposedly working on it. But it is a good buy, and it's on sale with $250 off the retail. If you want one, now it the time.

I stood in horror watching the dark figure aproach my front door. My hand, hovering over the "call 911" option in my Arlo app. I knew someone, or something, had been making it's way onto my porch while I was away working nights and my family was asleep inside. My eyes widened in horror as the shadow came into the light and I saw the villain! My neighbors Chihuahua, who has no respect for boundaries. The Arlo Pro 3 is a camera system that makes me comfortable leaving my house at night. I know that the quick alerts, high quality picture, and excellent field of view will keep my mind at ease. It's not just a security camera, it is a statement. A statement that lets any would be ne'er do-wells know they wont get away with it.
