Can't beat the easy set up, WIRELESS!

Wireless set up is great and easy, however, I would say the hanging options could be better. The 4 magnetic balls and I adjustable attachment leaves a little to be wanted. It would be nice to have atleast 2 of the adjustable hangers. A little disappointed in the night-vision and motion sensitivity at 100% gives you an alert when someone is only with 25ft away but catches cars from a 100 ft away. Cannot usually make out the car type at night but can tell general color and size. I got for $499, I think it was worth it.

This system is good for self home monitoring without a monthly subscription. The App makes it easy to view your cameras right from your phone. I can set the system to send notifications and view both recorded and live feeds. I like that the system operates off of batteries and my homes wifi. I can move my cameras wherever if needed. One drawback is that the recorded alerts only capture approximately 10 sec worth of footage. I would prefer 30 sec or longer. Overall, I'm happy with the system and its ease of use.

A very good security system. Set up was a breeze. It took all of 10 minutes to get everything synched together. Easy access from the Arlo app and great quality. I highly recommend it.

my first ever security camera, if you want to save money for installation charges that will cost you around $1000, this is the best shot. Installation just took about 10-15 minutes for each camera, wifi settings much easier, just hook up your base to router and press the link for all the cameras then your all set, the reason I give 4 stars is you have to pay extra if you want CVR and extra memory cloud

Easy to install and built well. Cameras connect easily and strong magnets hold them in place. Could use more than one outdoor mount though for a 6 camera system. Also a little pricey.

I have the regular Arlo system, it had a bad delay on catching motion, and would go through those expensive hard to find batteries. I seen a few comparasion videos on YouTube and took a gamble on this system. All I can say is Arlo finally got it right! The rechargeable batteries are nice and last a long time, the video AND audio is amazing, and it picks up motion instantly! They two-way voice and siren is nice as well! You won't be disappointed!

We bought this set as an extension to an five camera Arlo Pro set we purchased about a year ago. We loved the first set and wanted to expand coverage around the house. The setup on the original set was easy. The set up on this set was even easier. I just had to plug the base station to the same Wifi router and connected right up to my account. The app works great; you can use it to view cameras live, or to setup up motion alerts that notify you on your phone and record activities. There are small glitches here and there: - Small delay when viewing live; you can witness this by viewing a camera live while you are in the same room. This is not really an issue for us since the footage is recorded on the camera's we care most about. - Some times it takes a few tries to view a camera live, but that is rare. Future improvements: - Having to change the batteries of nine cameras around the house is a little annoying, but the fact that the batteries last 1 to 3 months make it bearable. - The kit should really include a standalone charger so that you can charge a spare battery. Right now to charge my batteries, I have to keep two cameras plugged in and I rotate the batteries into these two cameras for charging. $59 for a standalone charger is a little steep. - Future cameras should include a built in solar charger. I know Arlo sells a solar add on, which is nice, but I really wouldn't mind if the camera was a little bigger and included a built in solar cell. Overall: Highly recommend for easy DIY camera that just work.

This product, being ‘wireless’ is perfect for the person not wanting to hire someone to wire in a camera system. Pictures are great and so far all are working. So easy to install!!

This camera system is wonderful. We absolutely love it. There are no wires so it's super easy to set-up. We have just under an acre of land and we have cameras all over outside along with a few inside. The wireless range actually extends pretty far. You can view your video online from anywhere. We can add our own modes so if we want to turn a few of the cameras off when we are home, and still leave the outside ones on, we can. You can connect your own memory device to the hub and record to that device as well. This is super easy to use and gives us a wonderful peace of mind knowing that they are watching over our home when we are away.

I did a lot of research before deciding on Arlo to begin with and have had an Arlo Q for over a year. When the new Arlo Pro came out, I decided to purchase the 4 camera kit. The first kit I purchase had 1 camera that just would not stay online and I would have to take it down and remove the batter to reset it (what a pain), so I had to exchange the whole kit for another one. The second kit worked well out of the box with a super simple setup. The biggest thing to understand is the way the system works in regards to arming...basically, if its not armed...its not recording. For example, if you are using the Geofencing feature and you are home, the system is disarmed, & someone approaches your house, you have no video of it. There are several features that have pluses and minuses depending on how you use the system (ie - geofencing v. scheduling v. push notifications/emails). As far as battery concerns, I can report that I still have over 95% on all my cameras as of a month of use. Overall, I would recommend everyone read the manual before purchasing and make sure it fits their needs. If it does fit their needs, I would recommend the system because it working well for me.

I have been using the Arlo security system for over a year now and it has performed above my expectations. My camera system is all outdoors. I like not having to run wires and power to every camera. The battery life has been great (I have my settings for best quality so it uses more battery). Many of my friends have purchased Arlo once they see how easy it is to setup and the ability to view from your phone.

This is an awesome, easy to set up, complete security system. I live in an historic home and did not want to put holes in the walls or the building. The camera is clear and my battery is still fully charged after 3 weeks of use. My only complaint is the lack of instructions for the software. Also, it’s difficult to hear the microphone even at full volume. Overall, I’m happy and have great peace of mind that this flexible, reliable system is helping me keep tabs on my dogs and my home.

I bought this to see when my teenager comes home from school. Works great. Camera is so sensitive when I put it on my front door it picks up passing cars in the window next to the door. The window is only 8 inches wide and cars go 45mph past my house. They are in the reflection for a second or less and it picks them up every time! Battery life seems to be good. Put these outside at the end of April and it is now May 17th. Temperature has gone from 60's down to below 32 at night and they work fine. (went outside and talked so it would record and did great when it was below 32) Batteries are holding at 85% left, though I do not do a lot of recording during the day. When the teen comes home so a 10-20 second clip every day and it picks up birds that land on the porch railing. The other cameras that don't record much either are still at 90% or more. Using the voice talk back is a bit of a pain. I might be doing it wrong but. When I use my cell phone to talk I have to have my teen wait about 20 seconds so I can back out of the talk mode and go back to listen mode. If the person listening trys to talk back right away you cant hear what they say. Also camera has a 4 second delay at all times. That's just the camera+internet (I have high speed charter internet) Also works as a good deterrent for unwanted guests and possible thief's. Had 2 jehovah's witnesses show up and used the talk back to politely ask them to leave. I think it startled them, they looked around and then read the sticker on the window then found the camera. They waved smiled and left. I think that this was a great buy for me and my family.
