I looked at several vendors before selecting Arlo. These cameras have amazing picture quality and great 2-way audio. Very pleased.

Works well. It was completely setup in about an hour with no complications just one day before we left for vacation. At first I tried security cam apps with old Apple devices. That worked okay but they were just too sensitive to light changes from our skylights and car headlights. Also I wasn't comfortable leaving them on a charger all the time. Certainly did not want to mount an iPhone and extension cord on the porch! The Arlo cameras have similar picture quality to my iPhone 5 using Manything or Ring doorbell Pro but aren't as overly sensitive. Like any other ir equipped camera you want the immediate mounting area clear. For example, if mounted in a corner and angled too close to a wall the ir reflects and washes out the night vision. One other cool thing is the ability to hide the cameras and base. Be creative! If someone were to break in they might never even see the system. You can also hide a camera in a place to get great close up face pictures and height guesstimate. If I had it to do over again I'd get a system with more cameras. The largest system in stock only came with four cameras. A separate siren and the ability to block out specific areas with the app would be an improvement.

LOVE THIS SECURITY SYSTEM ! SO EASY TO INSTALL AND EVEN EASIER TO USE. CAN CHECK IT FROM MY PHONE AND THE STORAGE IS WONDERFUL.

easy set up. only problem was that I put one outside and unfortunately it did get wet inside from the tiny holes at the bottom of the camera. did not have a problem getting a new one from netgear but had to pay for shipping camera to them even though I just purchased it. I would suggest buying skins when you buy the camera if you plan on putting outside. although I have yet to try the skins.

I wanted a camera system that was wireless and easy to install, researched many others and the Arlo pro seemed my best choice. checked reviews and decided on the Arlo pro. having the rechargeable batteries and the app for my iPhone was a plus. the picture and videos are really clear and has the feature of zooming in. very happy with my purchase.

It works exactly as expected. Cons-About a one to two second lag from when movement is first detected until it starts recording. Video quality is only so-so, this is the biggest downfall of the system. Additionally the inability to set motion zones can lead to frequent false triggers. I have had the system for two weeks but three of the four cameras still have above 90% battery.

Works great and installation was simple. A user guide should be included however.

System is quick and painless to set up. I've had the system for a couple of months and have yet to replace a battery (4 units). There is a lag from when recording starts, but it's not bad, and not continuously recording allows for the long battery life. A few issues. I live in ND, and when it gets really cold, the cameras don't work if there's a battery in them. However, they will work if they are plugged in and don't have a battery in. This makes them less useful in this environment, especially since the power cord is not outdoor rated. This set also only comes with one power cable for the cameras. This is a non standard USB that allows it to power the camera and charge the battery at the same time. Standard cables can be used to power the camera, but it will not charge the batteries. I like the system, but if you need full time security I would probably spend more and get a wired, always on system.

Love the talk feature. When I'm not home and check the live feed, I sometimes catch the dog on the outdoor sofa (a no-no) and I tell him to get down. LOVE IT! Audio and video quality are both good. Gave it 4 stars because I wish the camera batteries lasted a little longer. They don't take long to recharge, though and I like that my phone app tells me when the batteries are getting low.

This is a great system and provides lots of features for surveillance and security. No need to hardwire the system, can be installed in less than 30 mins., if you know where u want position the cameras. If you have strong wifi signal and a great wifi speed you will be very pleased. 7 day cloud recording and optional USB recording will be more than sufficient for home needs. These cameras also has a mic and speakers for you to do active video conferences. They should include the 4 mounting bracket for the price but they give only one, also at times it provides false motion detection. Still love my Arlo as our new smart phone addition, with new solar panel accessory in the making, this will be a solid investment for those who want hassle free security monitoring. Also hope Netgear team will release more features in their App for better security monitoring. Overall you will be very satisfied with Arlo Pro.

It is ok product, too expensive, should be 150 or so less, not counting the holiday sales pricing. It is over priced for what a consumer gets. I think for a simple household survilance is good but if you need more, I would not purchase this over-priced unit. The good things as everyone said, it is WIRELESS, in every way. So that is good. I just hope they fix on the current PRO version and any NEW upcoming units the company IMPROVE the BATTERY LIFE, it is not what they advertise, and have more mounting options in the box and fix the LAG. Oh ya, it does have a 15-20 seconds lag, not good. Lastly the MOTION detection needs to be improved, it has settings supposedly, but really it does not work well. I tried and, tried to get a good setting and still not where it needs to be based on the settings and it just keeps sending motion detection emails. So, if you want something simple and don't mind charging the battery more often than advertised and get multi-emails becuase of the darn sensitivity issues the unit has, if you can get the whole system with 4 CAMS under 300 bucks go for it

Easy install, great picture, easy set up. I installed my videos on my home outside and downloaded the app it is easy to access and view and the battery has held up good thus far. Great purchase, would like to add an additional camera the individual was just a bit expensive. Overall great purchase

This system is incredibly easy to set up. After opening the box I had all four cameras working within 15 minutes. There are only two things I wish the system had. First would be the ability to record locally to a hard drive or USB. Second would be to have the system come with charging cords for each camera. I bought the four camera system and it only comes with one charging cord.

Wireless cameras are an easy set up and the batteries are long lasting. Quality of video is excellent. Highly recommended.

These Arlo cameras are simply the best on the market. Ease of set up and the consequential use is just as easy and convenient.

I bought these cameras after having the original Arlo cameras for about 3 weeks. The original Arlo cameras did pretty well, but the motion detection was a little slow and, in our high traffic area, they burned through batteries pretty quick. As soon as I saw that the Arlo Pro model was coming out, I returned the original Arlo cameras and waited. The Arlo Pro cameras were totally worth the wait. The motion detection is much improved, even with a short line of sight. The batteries are rechargeable, which is much better for our busy street. Plus the Arlo Pro batteries seem to be lasting much longer than the regular Arlo's anyways. The only major thing that I would change with these cameras would be a higher resolution. The 720P is actually pretty decent, but it would be nice to be able to make out some more detail sometimes. Although, I do still believe that the lower resolution is a fair trade off for not having to deal with running wires to all of my cameras. I am using these in conjunction with my Samsung Smartthings hub on my Windows 10 Mobile and it is working quite well. Setting up the motion detection on the cameras to turn on my lights is a great added function. Overall, I would totally buy these again.

I love the Arlo pro because is a wireless design with great picture clarity and battery life that has exceeded my expectations

Its a great buy price wise for 6 cams. Easy to install. Easy to use. Good pictures. 24/7 support. I'm very pleased with them.

I went with the Arlo Pro with the 4-cam package, as it has 2-way communication functionality, and since the 2-cam was likely going to have me purchasing at least one more cam in the future. The $ difference was negligble with that factored in. The cameras are great, not HD quality but quite good. I find that the night vision view setting is too easily compromised by outlying light sources (streelights, porch, etc) so I turn it off, and like that version better. The only two weak areas I've found are: 1> if your power or wifi goes out, then so does your system and the notifications, and 2> the app. I have a Samsung S6 and the app is very tempermental, if you try to go from camera to "mode" (to arm the system) too quickly, it will just stay in "loading" mode forever. I've lost count on how many times I've had to just close it down and reopen. Luckily, it doesn't get stuck in process after closing, so it's a quick workaround, just a bit cumbersome. For those looking for a self-monitoring security cam system (or via Alexa, etc), with 2-way voice, sound, int/ext mounting, I highly recommend this. At $650 it pays for itself in <1 yr, plus you can't put a price on piece-of-mind!
