I wanted a security system that I could control and Arlo is it. Simple set up and installation. Have yet to charge any of the four camera batteries. Battery life has been great and the picture quality also. It has already helped me capture an incident on camera that I was having difficulty in resolving.

For me it would be of excellent use at a front or back door or inside home.the sound is so clear I could hear the leaves blowing around outside.the phone app works great but you would have to do an adjustment for it to record for more then 10 seconds for each motion detection.I just wanted something a little more detailed past 30 ft.so if you are wanting to cover a large driveway this may not be the set for you.but it will detect motion well but just not clearly for large areas.setup is simple.so I would Recommend depending on what you are wanting to use it for.

I bought this because I was not able to install a hardwired system. The instructions were very clear and the setup was easy. I installed each camera near an outlet so I could use the power adapter. I found that to be more convenient than to have to recharge the batteries every 3 months. The range from the base to each camera was noticeably reduced by walls and floors. You can not use a wifi range extender with this product since it uses a proprietary system to communication wirelessly.

I installed my Arlo Pro security camera in just a few minutes. Sync to my wireless was easy and I can view from anywhere.

I am so happy we finally decided to purchase Arlo. Very easy to set up, great range of viewing and easy to use overall.

The wireless aspect is great, it gives me many options on where to place the camera's. Battery life has been excellent

I own 4 nest Cams and they are nice as well but I can't easily use them outside as security cameras due to the cables. These Arlo Pro cameras seemed like a perfect fit so I bought this pack to try out. The main questions I had were battery life and performance. I am sure m most of you will have the same questions. Battery Life. I have had one looking out onto my front porch and one looking at my back yard now for 2 weeks. The front cam is currently reporting 98% battery and the back yard is at 96% battery. It appears that the battery life is NOT going to be an issue. Performance. I changed the clip duration from the default 10 seconds to 20 seconds (can go up to 2 minutes). Everything has been working very well. for example, today I walked up to my front door and had an alert on my phone before I managed to open it. So the alerts are quite fast and timely. Recording quality is decent. It is high enough to easily make out faces and the like. Even in the dark. I only have one gripe. Opening the app you see a screen shot on each camera of the last time each recorded something. But it isn't live. I expect this as they aren't always recording but it takes me about 12-15 seconds to being up a live feed once I select it and that seems a little long. I have not yet tested 2 way audio as that isn't a feature I really got these for.

I have owned several IP cams over the last 5 years. This one is one of the easiest to configure. No tech knowledge required. The pro model is also light years ahead of the standard Arlo. Don't buy the cheap 1st gen standard Arlo, get the pro version. Pro has much quicker motion response. You are actually able to capture who walked by rather than seeing the person's back on the way out. So it's a little expensive, but it's worth it. Just wait for it to go on sale.

The camera is pretty awesome. The only downside is that the quality is ok and there is no way to setup motion zones and you have to rely in general IR sensor detection. It gives a lot of false positives during the summertime when the sun is radiating and the tree are moving. That very well could be the case with any camera though so the camera is still great.

I love these cameras! The system is easy to set up and connect to the app. I can monitor from my phone or any computer. The app alerts me and is easy to understand. There is a low battery alert that it sends when one battery is low! Love that the batteries are rechargeable. These are very easy to use-HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The camera set was almost trivial to set up, about half an hour, including moving the cameras a few times to get the best view of my porch and drive. The picture quality is very good, and the motion detection has picked up everyone who comes to the door, including my cat a few times.

Very simple set up and install. I did have one of the 4 cameras lose contact with the hub and it required resynching. Other than that they have been working flawlessly. I am giving 4 stars because the integration with Samsung ST is pretty sloppy. When triggered by sensors, the cameras record a video clip. Unfortunately, you cannot view this clip in ST.

Great cameras for home or work. Picture quality is Great and the battery life is more than a month per charge.
