Overall the system works great, it was an easy install, it's easy to use. The only issue would be the battery as the first charge from the factory is the only good charge, after that you need to charge every 4-5 weeks.

I purchased this to see what is going on when I am not home because of my neighbors coming in my yard when I am not home and they swear they are not. The cameras a small enough to not be detected unless someone is looking if placed properly. The installation was done and it was not hard at all. It does depend on your internet speed as to how fast the data is transmitted. Make sure as I did that you completely charge the camera batteries. They do not come fully charged. Once installed the cameras performed great. The night vision is clear too. You dont have to pay for monitoring unless you want to save it then there is a yearly fee. It's really not that bad becuase if something happens you will have it. The battery life is good. I would suggest going over how you set it becuase if you live on a street with a lot of vehicles and the camera is pointed in that direction the battery will drain quicker. This is a great system and I would recommend it.

Originally, i got the two camera package, but opted for the 4 camera set! I love that i can check in at anytime and be notified the second motion or sound is detected. After having a break in, it makes me, and my family, feel safer. It is 25 minute set up and user friendly !

What's great: -Fully wireless cameras -Fairly long lasting rechargeable batteries -Free* cloud features -Local storage options for recordings What's disappointing: -Small lag in recognizing movement so recordings sometimes miss important information -Free accounts limited to five devices -The app (for Android at least) seems mildly buggy and slow sometimes Overall though I have no regrets. It's a solid system and does everything I want it to well.

Purchased the Arlo Pro system for my business warehouse/shop space. Love being able to arm/disarm from smartphone. Motion detection works perfectly. Get email and alerts when there's an intrusion. Luckily, so far the only alerts have been accidental, but I feel very secure knowing that I can see within seconds if there has been an intrusion, and I can call the cops at my discretion. Plus with the base station, I know I'll have recorded video of the event.

Because it is wireless, the installation was quick and easy. I like the motion detection notification and the visibility from my cell phone. There is a slight delay in the initial notification of movement which could be improved. Overall the system is just as advertised and I am very pleased with the purchase.

I was hesitant to purchase this model due to the reviews about video quality and lag but finally took the plunge. I've had these installed for over a week and have had no issue with either. I think some of the reviews may be impacted by internet speed since these are wireless. All of my cameras have at least 2 bars on the connection and will have more once I add my Orbi's. Quality: 4/5 User Interface (Online & App): 5/5 Install and Set Up: 5/5

The Arlo Pro system is probably best in its class of home security camera systems. I wanted a system that supports wireless connectivity and battery powered cameras, and this system provides exactly that. One of my bigger concerns about this system was the battery life on the cameras, and after owning this product for a month, I can say that I'm very satisfied with how well these batteries hold their charge. In a moderate-traffic environment, they've barely dropped 15% in a month. One big difference between this system and the Arlo Pro 2 is that these cameras only support 720p - but I haven't yet seen the need to upgrade. One last thing - this system integrates quite easily with the SmartThings system (where I've been able to create rules that integrate motion sensors, these cameras, and Philips Hue lights). The Arlo Pro system has also recently picked up HomeKit support, but I haven't yet tested it out.

Have owned for about 2 months now. Had to charge two of the four cameras already but they are the two that are most used. I think they are still worth it. Very nice. I use with my cell phone to view talk back and listen. This was a great buy with an easy setup and no wires. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought the regular Alo 4-camera system first. After I learned that the batteries were not rechargeable and were costly to replace, I returned in favor of the pro. It was worth the money with the rechargeable capability. System works well, very easy to install and set up and the image is great even at night.

The Alro Pro is a great step up from the standard Arlo. The picture is very good, easy to use app, local recording, good range, easy to set up, sound, mic, and rechargeable batteries make the a super simple method of keeping eyes on your home or business while away.

Got 4 camera Arlo Pro system. Setup was very easy and the overall quality of the cameras is good. The live feed is a bit laggy at time. Biggest problem is the app - in particular the geofencing option. I guess it's still Beta mode but it has a bad habit of resetting randomly and mistaking where I am. Hopefully this will be improved as time goes.

Easy to install and set up. Good quality color video and good infrared video. Stated battery life of "3-6 months" is only achievable if camera is placed in an area that has little activity. I had the camera set up to view my driveway (as we had our vehicles vandalized more than once) and the battery life only lasted two days. We are a family of 6 so there are several motion activations throughout the day. If you live on a busy street or have the camera fixed on an area with a lot of activity, you may want to find a way to plug in the charger for a continuous power supply, Otherwise, you will need to recharge the battery often. The speaker isn't very loud and there is a delay so trying to talk to someone in real time is difficult. Besides those two drawbacks, I am very pleased with the system.

Easy set up, quality is pretty good. Battery last pretty long with standard 10 second record time. If you go longer expect to charge the batteries more often. Some lag time on remote talk by a few seconds. App is pretty simple and tweaking is easy when you go on the Arlo site and play around on it.

Set up is simple. I had this installed in less than 30 minutes. It's been running for over a month and the batteries are holding up very well. Two way audio is a very nice feature. Only drawbacks are the 2-3 second lag, and since I have sound activation set up, a large truck will sometimes set it off.
