I bought this camera thinking it would work with Apple home, as the package and user manual claimed. However, I soon realized that this was a false advertisement. The camera only worked with Apple home for the first 3 months, when Arlo gave me a free trial of their security service. After that, the camera stopped working on Apple home and the Arlo app disabled all the motion features. I contacted Arlo customer support and they told me I needed to buy an Arlo hub for $100 to use this camera with Apple home. I reluctantly bought the hub, hoping to get the full functionality of the camera. But to my disappointment, the hub only allowed me to live view the cameras, with no recording, no notification, no alerts. Arlo deliberately disabled the Apple home recording feature, because they want me to pay for their subscription. This is a scam and a rip-off. I feel cheated and deceived by Arlo. I wasted my money and time on this product. I wish I could return it, but it's too late now. I do not recommend this product to anyone, unless you are already part of the Arlo eco system and pay the $10 for unlimited security service. Otherwise, stay away from this company. They are dishonest and greedy. I give this product 1 star, only because I can't give it zero.

Good wide view camera. Hard to get a smaller view so it goes off a lit

The battery get low fast. You need backup battery and good wifi and internet service or it will get offline without filming clips.

Had to return. The Ring camera has just as good of quality camera so I am sticking with Ring. Battery died way too fast

Great product. Helps us feel secure. Very sensitive to movement. We use the solar light.

It took some time for the camera to detect my base station, but setup was easy otherwise. My primary issue with the camera is the requirement of their subscription plan to record when triggered, even with local recording. If you do not want to be stuck paying for an expensive subscription plan, I recommend you look for other solutions. Also please note, unlike a regular floodlight, the automatic light duration is only as long as its recording setting (default is something like 5s). It does not remain on while there is still motion. I've gotten around this by setting it to the max recording length of 2 mins (even though there's no recording). This is overall a poor design and user experience.

This camera is very professional and sleek looking as well. Great compliment to the Arlo system
