Also, most people already have one that they're replacing so they don't have to run wires. Yes, you can buy an power adapter but that really isn't the setup that most people have, which is usually a junction box. It's a shame that they didn't give a hard wire option like Ring / Nest do.

When I finally decided it was time, Arlo was the first one I considered because of the reviews I was seeing from people over the years. Plus, the features they offer like solar power so I don’t have to worry about charging or replacing batteries is awesome. I have since bought more Arlo devices and could not be more pleased.

A half brained baboon could push ONE button on the device (which points down by the way) and remove the entire camera assembly from its location within 2 seconds. For something that is supposed to help secure and protect you, this thing fails miserably!

Does not require a base station to operate. Has extra large battery. Has video tracking feature when it detects a person or animal moving.
