Good light/ camera combo

The motion sensor activation is good. It is a little lagging in terms of audio/video which makes using the 2-way audio useless at times, but otherwise it is pretty good.

Won’t connect consistantly

A Bright Light-Cam

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With a few caveats the Arlo Pro 3 Indoor/Outdoor 2K Floodlight does an excellent job filling the "Floodlight+Camera" role in areas that AC power is not available. BestBuy price when on sale made it a go after a painless per-order pickup from a local store it was charged and installed relatively easily.

Good camera

Using the hub and a smart card provides for a much better connection than my ring cameras. I like that I am able to save videos and only limited by the size of the memory card. I like the brightness adjustment and the ability to differentiate between people and animals.

Finally a security device easy to set up and use

Set up was a breeze. Got the whole system consisting of 3 security lights and three solar charging panels working in less than 60 minutes. Since then we can sleep at night knowing that we are covered by our new Arlo HDR Floodlight Camera.

Arlo falls short, Ring app is a lot better

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm just not a fan of the Arlo app. If I happened to be in my driveway, The light would go on then off, and on then off, then on then off, I couldn't set it to keep recording if I was just going to be in my driveway for a few minutes it was irritating. Not to mention that if you want constant recording throughout the day you have to pay $10 I just wasn't a fan of this at all. The light was supposed to stay on for 20 minutes once triggered. But if you were to pull up in your vehicle the light would come on and then 5 seconds later go off.

Arlo Pro3 installation flaws and use.

Note: it is adjustable. The weakness is the method of attachment to structure is very poor and based upon a small plastic part that can and did break. The biggest issue is ARLO's lack of support. There is no possible way to "talk" to Arlo, all is in a chat room which is a big problem. They are working with several other people at the same time and never get to answering your questions and suddenly they hang up.

Arlo floodlight camera

Arlo camera and flood light

We also purchase AC cord to power to be sure it would be bright. Easy set up. Operational issues are: Motion sensor senses snow flakes and light and camera activates constantly. Light on come on for a few seconds then goes off. Using settings menu does not change duration. Overall, not practical light source due to not staying on. Too many triggers— each snow flake. If there’s a way to adjust these settings, I haven’t figured it out. Positive, people can see are is monitored even though not they don’t know monitoring is not very good.
