Setup through the app and the camera could have been a bit more seamless. I did have to quit the app and reconnect the camera several times just to set it up. BUT after that. It’s been a breeze. I absolutely LOVE that you can control the light, specific zones, and the quality is phenomenal. No reason to complain that it’s not 4K, 2k is JUST fine and very clear. The notifications on an iPhone and the Apple Watch are perfect. And the fact that you can save the video to your phone instantly. I’m recommending to everyone honestly. Thank you so much for such a great product/experience!

I already have a set of Arlo cameras around, but having the additional coverage is fantastic. I had to get a little creative with the install based on my home's design, but it's worked out so far. The picture is amazingly clear for the 2K, but the system says it has to drop out of it if you want to activate the motion-tracking. The spotlight is very bright (do no test the camera's motion detecting settings indoors, in dim light, while looking anywhere near the front face of the camera). Syncing to the base station seemed to take much longer than have, and be aware, this item did not come with a base station.

We are building a new house that is going to have a 300' long driveway and were wondering how to light it. We discovered the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight/Cam with the optional Solar Power Charger and found the perfect solution. We've just been testing one unit so far, but three of them will be perfect for the lighting and securing the wooded driveway into our home. The rechargeable battery negates the need to run underground conduit up and down the driveway and the solar panel allows us to mount it and forget it. All three will be tree-mounted, motion triggered, and WiFi connected. Thank you Arlo.

This is an ok camera and light but the lag is up to 30 sec. Meaning you don’t get notifications up to 30 sec and the video is lagging behind by 30 sec. Not what you want in a security camera. However the camera was easy to set up and the solar panel is a must for area where you don’t have power. The App is very buggy and hangs up 85% of the time. Again not what you want in a security app

Overall, I think it's a solid option for people who want a floodlight, but don't have the ability to wire one up because of a lack of experience or an available junction box. I had two of these floodlights and feel like I got my money's worth; however, there were some pretty annoying issues which I feel prevented these from being perfect. First, the battery life on these things is pretty inconsistent. My floodlight in my backyard, which gets significantly less use and is connected to a solar panel, can last for months without needing a charge. Conversely, the floodlight facing my driveway can maybe only last four or five days between charges (it is also connected to a solar panel). The software is pretty bad. I've had to resync the cameras multiple times because they somehow lose connection, drop settings, or somehow stop detecting motion. The software's alerts are often slow to appear. You'll spend a significant amount of time futzing with the cameras and the software. I just replaced these with Wired Nest Floodlights and haven't looked back.

The video quality is great and the field of view is wonderful! There is a firmware issue that is causing a static/flutter/popping noise in the audio that needs to be addressed. Other than that issue, I highly recommend this Floodlight and will probably buy a couple more of them once the noise issue is resolved.

Outstanding quality camera, very easy setup. The floodlight is a plus. Replaced an older security system and this one wraps circles around it.

I didn’t realize when I ordered this just how customizable this floodlight would be. I can set the light to come on for as little or as long as I want whenever the motion sensor is triggered. I can also set it to stay on as a solid beam or to pulsate and scare off any prowlers, be they animal or people. It’s got a dusk to dawn sensor and I can even set the brightness how I want, and also the angle, degree and width of the camera view. I’m still playing with all the features but it was definitely a good buy!

Not only does this floodlight camera already have great reviews across the board, but it’s better than I was expecting! It’s rare that a product actually delivers on its claims with ease of install and use as well as performance and this one does all of that. The camera has a nice wide view, and the light is brighter than my floodlight without being overpowering. Most importantly, I don’t feel like I’m getting an alert every time a leaf blows by all of this on the default settings. Will definitely be buying more Arlo products in the very near future.

Video is clear. Love that it can tell me when an animal, a vehicle, or a person are on camera. I look forward to learning more of what it can do.

It’s an awesome camera I just always nit pick on things because I always believe there’s room for improvement. I would think by now these cameras would be compatible with 5ghz wifi and be able to set activity zones without a subscription. But besides those little things I would still pick this camera over others.

I purchased this light after catching two people snooping around my yard the night before on my Arlo Pro cameras. The Pro video was too grainy to see the details of their faces. This camera is far superior. The light kicks on and you see stunning details in color. The zoom feature is also very cool. You have to get used to the zoom feature though as it sometimes zooms around trying to find movement and misses the action.

The Arlo pro 3 floodlight camera is a great option for someone who wants a powerful wire free floodlight in their driveway, backyard, or front door. The floodlights integrates well with my existing Arlo cameras and works as expected without loss in signal or significant battery loss. Some minor annoyances with this product is that in order to achieve peak brightness, it needs constant power. Nonetheless, the camera is plenty bright in my application and seems do work as expected.

I’ve purchased a few of these floodlight cameras to replace my existing flood lights, and have surveillance in dark areas. I was impressed on how bright these floods are, being that I live on 2 acres with no street lights. It gave me a great sense of security when I’m not home. I also like how you can manually control it thru the app. At 2K resolution and that type of flood light in one, I definitely recommend it!

I like the spot light camera because the light is bright but I hope that this camera is not a subscription only cause I would be very upset. The camera is top heavy so when it’s windy at times the camera tends to fall in a downward position. I would recommend this to anyone.
