I have three cameras, each from a different manufacturer. Arlo is the worst, based on my experience. Here is why. No local storage, cloud based only, which requires paid subscription. If you’re not willing to pay the subscription fee, you can only see the live image, cannot see recordings, cannot see what happened in the past, even a minute ago. No selectable activity zones, unless you pay the subscription fee. If you do not pay the subscription fee, then the camera must be connected to the AC power, which defeats the purpose of using it on the battery power. No animal or human detection, general motion only unless you pay the monthly subscription fee. Very poor battery life if you use the lamp feature when motion is detected. With the lamp feature enabled for motion detection the battery life can be less than a week. With the lamp disabled, the battery will last about 4 to 8 weeks. This one is really annoying, especially when compared to similar cameras from other manufacturers. Specifically, if you get the alert that the motion is detected and click on the notification, you will not be taken to the motion event directly. Instead you will end up on the main menu, from which you need to switch to events screen. Once you go there, you have to wait until the motion event is fully recorded and processed before you can access it. Another words, if you get a new notification about the new motion detected you cannot see it immediately, you have to wait about a minute or two before you can see what it was all about. Finally, the camera itself is not protected against a stranger coming to it and grabbing it, pulling it out and walking away with it. Just press the small button below on the outside case and pull out the camera just like that. There is no screw holding it safe, just a push button to take it out. Very easy to steal. Takes few seconds and the camera is gone. Overall, there are much better choices out there in terms of actual functionality that does matter in real life. My first and last Arlo.

Nice picture potent light at night great clarity !

We had wanted to install cameras for a while and after much research, decided on Arlo. The floodlight camera is just what we wanted. The options available to customize are great (brighten/dim, motion and/or sound detection, alert notifications, activity zones, arming/disarming the notifications, siren activation, etc). And the view is amazing and clear, even at night! We have been completely satisfied with the product and recommend it to anyone.

The floodlight camera has been great for keeping an eye on our driveway and side gate. The range is so wide that we can see from one corner of our front yard to the other! We’re also really enjoying the motion detection zone, which we’ve set to exclude the little bit of sidewalk that is in frame. The camera is so sensitive that we’ve had to turn off the animal detection feature because we have so many squirrels and cats in the neighborhood.

Easy set up and the view and video are are very clear! The color in the video is fantastic!

I got this setup in my driveway. It works perfect and really bright enough to see out to the street. No driveway lights needed with this. Definitely getting another one for the backyard.

I have an Arlo Pro 3 camera system and needed more light on my driveway. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight fit the bill and I could not be happier. The lumen brightness is far greater than the regular units. I may even get one more when they go on sale at some point. So far the battery life is good considering the amount of light this camera outputs. I think you will be happy if you buy the floodlight!

Works as advertised, bright light, good camera!!!!

Was looking for a Flood light for my back yard. Gradually I made my way to this Arlo Product. However the price held me back from immediate purchase. After some research I found a good sale and pulled the trigger. I'm so happy with my purchase. The light has great coverage. The camera is good quality. Just wish it had home kit integration and better AI detection alert personalizations.

So I just got this Pro 3 Floodlight Camera just a few days ago. I already had 5 cameras when I got this one. My backyard get a little dark more so at this time of year. My wife wanted a light and I wanted better camera coverage. This worked great. I have the light set at half power and it covers my yard perfectly light the yard up. I might need 2 more of these. Now to setup a solar charger for it.

High Quality video, great zoning detection features, and a very bright light!

I bought the Arlo Floodlight cam to supplement the security system we already have in place. It was a good move. Everything works as it's supposed to, looks great, super easy to install, and it integrates flawlessly. I'm very happy with the Arlo products.

I bought two of these and the setup was a synch, not to me ruin the flawless app and managing both cameras. Simple and intuitive design lets me arm and disarm all lights. The super intelligent cameras detects vehicles, persons, animals, and general motion with awesome 2K clarity and audio to match. Do yourself a favor and pick up these and worry no more!

Very good image quality and very bright light! I recommend it

I have been using this for a couple weeks now and I am very happy with the quality in craftsmanship as well as functionality. The light is much brighter than I had expected. One small complaint is I think the magnetic charge cable should be included as well as an option to upgrade it to longer length.

I use Arlo Floodlight camera for my garage entrance. Motion sensor works great and lights up the whole front yard which is great if any tries to intrude. Camera captures crisp videos. Floodlight used inconjunction with the camera, will deter any intruder away. I have only had it for 2 weeks and battery has drained by only 5% which shows it can last a while.

Once I got a working one, camera has been working as smooth as my Ultra 4K models. Light is very bright. So far, very impressed. Just need HomeKit support to give it 5 stars.

I have been wanting to get a device like this for some time. The installation was easy peazy! the app is very easy to use. I like the comfort of the fllodlight knowing anything moves will be seen. Also seeing all the critters that roam around at night is always fun to review in the morning.
