Simple cameras, but definitely does the job. Works as hoped.

I purchased the Arlo Pro system last year. The image quality is good, as is the trigger range (via sensitivity settings). There is a slight lag before recording which is to be expected. Night vision capability is solid. And time between charges is pretty good, I only charge the out door cameras every couple months, the indoor ones are more frequent every few weeks or so. The biggest failure of the unit is with battery longevity, I've had multiple battery failures on multiple cameras. Netgear support has been very helpful but as of right now even the most recent firmware update hasn't fixed the issue. Pros: + You can place the cameras more or less anywhere. + Decent wireless range + Decent battery life, ie lasts considerable time between charges. + Good video quality + Secure Cloud storage Cons - Recording lag - Poor battery longevity, ie they seem to fail quickly. There are alot of good things about the Arlo, once they fix the battery issue I'd highly recomend the system but untill then I'd say look to other solutions first.

Did a lot of research and it paid off. Simple to set up, wireless, great picture, no monthly fees, can use your own hard-drive backup. Can't get better than this. Put another set up in my Moms house. Never have to worry about her.

Arlo is a great security solution. The cameras are wireless so they can be moved anywhere you want without any hassles. There are enough accessories for the system that really help tailor it to your specific needs. I have the lower resolution 720p version, but here is at 1080p coming soon that can seamlessly be added to the existing system.

I chose this version than the 1080p one because my brother showed video of his and the quality was great. After having the system setup and running for a month now, I am very happy with my purchase. The video quality is very good, the service is unbeatable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the app is a little clunky (I also have a nest system, their app is easier to use). I finally figured out how to turn off the motion sensor for events not involving people, animals or vehicles. Now I am not getting a million alerts in a day.

System is easy to install...works great in day and night !

I purchased these to add to the 6 I already owned. It was really easy to add them to our existing system. There is a lag time of a few seconds in getting notifications, it may be our slow internet (we live out in the country). I am impressed with the distance away from the house that I can place these and still get service. Pictures are clear (unless you zoom way in). Sound is great. They do not catch some vehicles if they are going too fast. Easy to navigate the app and watch your property, even on vacation :)

This camera is amazing and easy to set up. I love the notifications that I receive on my phone and the convenience of the product. Awesome quality of the video and even upgrade and add multiple camera.

Great !! I fell safe already and easy of installation was a breeze!! So happy I returned the 1080p HD version ! For this 720p HD !! Saved $73 dollars today and priceless personal security for me .

The Arlo Pro was a little glitchy on installation but now seems to work flawlessly. The only thing I wish is that you could view it from more than I device at a time. We use it to see who walks in our offoce’s Front door and I wish we could all view the feed

Arlo Pro is advertised to work in low temperature indoor/outdoor, but even with outside temperature in 50's its starting showing message that charging has been paused due to low battery temperature. After contacting with support i have been told that it is a known issue and team is still working on finding the resolution. It can be firmware or hardware fix depending on what is the root cause. My question is, if it is known issue why it is still available in market. I have spent around $700 for the security device which is expect to work but I am not sure when it is working and when it is not due to this known battery issue. If this issue is resolved I may like this product for its 100% wireless feature but with the issue I am giving 1 star and waiting for the team to provide the issue before i return this.

Super easy to set up hub, cameras and app. App is very intuitive and easy to use. Estimating about a 2 second delay in video and audio, but plenty good for me.

Great sound. Was very easy to setup. Took about 20 minutes.

My wife and I interviewed all of the security systems out there; they all have monthly fees to pay, and I honestly don't like the idea of someone else having recording of what goes on in my home. This system came out to be less than the up front fees that ADT was going to charge us... And we get to keep the recordings on our own server within the house, and don't have to worry about someone else charging us for what we can do (and feel much more comfortable doing) on our own. There's a siren that you can activate which our neighbors could hear, should someone break into our home, or if something's happening in our home that's not supposed to be happening. With audio and motion activation, we get alerts when something's happening; and we can program when and what triggers the recording, how long the recording happens, and where the recording goes when we don't want it anymore (or want to keep it long term). Don't pay any of these overpriced services to do what you can do yourself by purchasing the Arlo... Audio is awesome on these (both ways); we love tormenting our puppies when we're not home with the two way audio....

This is an excellent system for a beginner. Excellent cameras, easy to mount and setup. I like the fact that the cameras don't affect the speed of your WiFi as they don't talk to your router directly, they send their signal through the system's own receiver.

These cameras are easy to install and the image is clear.
