I use this for my home and for my elderly family member who lives next door. I like how I can keep track through the app on my iPhone and iPads. It has a notification option to let me know when the cameras are activated. The picture is only at 720. Wish it was a little clearer when zooming in. It has a good speaker and microphone. Little expensive, but I was able to get it cheaper through an ad match. I just wish I could have more than five cameras on one unit. Daylight is in color and nighttime is in black and white. It doesn't have any motorized movement parts to move it. So you have to manually set it where you want it. It's small and light, and has magnetic backing to stick to metal objects or the stands that come with it.

6 months later and camera works perfect. Easy installment, good video quality, app needs work but it gets the job done.

I loved this product so much, two other people I know went out and bought the same thing. Using your iphone arlo app makes this so easy to use. You can have up to 5 cameras active for free, after there is a payment option with arlo up to 10 cameras a year is 99 bucks. 5 and less is free. thank you arlo for a great product.

Great for overall cost, able to see multiple areas

The camera is great. The video is clear and the battery last more than a month considering it has a very active motion sensor plus it has 7 days free recording. Excellent product!

We like our Arlo camera system, the picture and sound quality are good. It says there is two way communication available, however have been yet to work it properly. Also the record time is typically 15 seconds or less, even if set for 3 minutes. On the Arlo website under troubleshooting, this does list it has a known issue, stating it is due to consistent movement in the camera view. I will have 15-30 sec of recording a minute apart. Haven't had long enough to state whether I would recommend to a friend and due to the short record time, will state no for now.

Purchased set of 4 arlo indoor cameras to keep an eye on my toddler while im off at work. Detects motions at reasonable distance and alerts on app. Battery life so far has been good and haven't charged it for weeks. Video quality at 720fps aint great but does the job of monitoring. Free cloud recording for a week is a bonus when it comes to reviewing the activities. Overall pleased with my purchase and would suggest to get the pro2 if video quality is important else pro is a good value buy.

I've had the system for about 2 weeks and have had minor issues with it. It's clarity is impeccable, especially night vision mode. I love the fact that it has a range of sensitivity motion options. It's pretty expensive, but worth the money.

Very good camera and it's very easy to install it.

Wanted to see what indoor pets were doing when we are away. This system provides that. Easy setup and performance as described. Very pleased and will likely add another camera to monitor the pets in backyard.

Easy to install and set up. Did discover that a flag waving in front of the camera, about 6 ft. away, will trigger the motion sensor, so I just moved the field of view. Would recommend choosing the correct number of cameras for your situation. I purchased the two camera set and quickly realized that I needed a third one!

Well this was the system I always wanted, if only it worked. There are some awesome pro's to the Arlo Pro camera system which would easily qualify for a 5 star review in my opinion. Pros: The wifi connection is great! Much more stable and stronger than the Canary Flex (I had two and returned them due to constant issues) Battery life seems to last incredibly well. I have had the system for 2 weeks and the batteries show between 100% and 96% depending on which camera you check (some are used more than others). Distance to the router isn't a problem for arlo in my house. In a 2 story 1700 sf house with plaster walls built in 1890, wifi is a disaster around here, but not for Arlo! Live feed/delay, compared to Canary the live feed syncs up quickly and has a greatly reduced lag time, 2-3 seconds at most compared to the 5 seconds of Canary. Notifications come in the form of standard app notifications but you also have the option of email and these come fast. Canary could take anywhere from 3-15 MINUTES for a notification (if it came at all) but with Arlo the notification is on my phone within 5 seconds of walking past the camera. App and interface is great, easy to navigate, connections are decently fast and the rules setup is fine tunable. Clarity is not as good as Canary but it is very workable in daylight and usable in night vision. I was disappointed only with the zoom in feature. Customization and motion detection (see cons as well) the motion detection algorithm they use seems to work well, it is adjustable in both sensitivity and focus meaning you can select a portion of the frame for motion detection which is helpful outdoors especially. Cons: Build quality: compared to Canary these cameras feel cheap in hand, light and a flimsy battery door have me doubting the longevitiy of these cameras outside (but I suppose that remains to be seen). Quality control: one of the four cameras in my package failed to sync and after 2 hours of tech support over two days they determined it was a faulty unit and required it to be sent back to Netgear before they would ship a replacement. (Two weeks later and I still only have 3 cameras) Quality control: why would I list this twice? I discovered yesterday that one of the camera's actually hasnt detected motion or recorded once since it was set up. I thought it was my mistake when programming the custom recording rules but after extensive reprogramming and then speaking with tech support (again!) it was determined that this is actually a second faulty camera!! So to sum it up I paid $600 for a four camera system, have only two that work, one in the mail to my house hopefully soon, and another useless unit that I will have to pay shipping to return (no netgear doesn't cover warranty shipping!) after two weeks of owning, and I don't even have a complete set to return to Best Buy.. leaving me to question, with what could be such an amazing product, Why not quality control and check the items to make sure they work ensuring that the customer is getting the best and the company is rated where it should be? As far as the customer service/company, yes they are replacing the product, no they don't care that I have to pay for shipping it back even though I bought it two weeks ago..

I would recommend this to a friend & great camera.

Easy to set up. Grear video day and night. Recommend that you use cord to charge where available. No issues and options available are excellant. Highly reccommend for security.
