It took me about 30 minutes to set up two cameras. I've had no problems with anything, the video quality, batter or anything. I do suggest buying the extra mount as the magnet mount is ok but not great.

Cameras work well. Stay on line and operate as promised. Probably a way to make a longer running video but I have not figured it out yet.

Easy to install and rechargeable batteries are still going strong after the first true charge.

I purchased these on the deal of the day and am really satisfied. They were relatively easy to install and connect with our devices. The picture quality if very good.

Love the wireless feature, easy to set and relocate anywhere. Captured 1080 video, best of all its rechargeable, no more expensive battery replacement.

I don't love everything about these but if you consider the fact that they are totally wireless, it puts them very high on the list. You can put them anywhere in range of the wifi base. They install easier than anything else on the market as well. In 10 minutes you are up and running. The motion grid and recording could use some work but they are still a great deal and 100% wireless.

Set was easy, sync process a breeze. Ran in to small issue setting up the account...kept getting "arlo isnt available" which I discovered isnt uncommom, but after that, it's been working perfectly.

Product works great and sends prompt notifications to my phone. I like the fact that I can disable a camera if there is going to be constant motion that you know of in the area. It gives me notifications and piece of mind for security, knowing when my kids are coming and going, outside pet activity, taking deliveries unwanted solicitors. I would have given a 5 star but sometimes a camera or all of the cameras at one will go offline and will not come back until I totally shut down my modem, router and the base station.

The setup was easy--maybe 15 minutes total. I thought the picture quality was excellent, especially for wifi. However, with the cameras being set up on wifi, I believe you lose a lot of speed when connecting. My biggest complaint is the lag between opening the app on your phone and actually seeing footage. Overall, it is a good camera for basic surveillance ... ie pets, nanny cam... but I would not rely on this product for home security.

A great DIY home security system that is on the tad bit expensive side. I bought the Arlo security system after a few weeks review with other DIY security systems and came down to this one for a few things. As of this review (9/22/17) Netgear gives you free basic cloud storage for recorded video. Granted each week the storage is cleared, it is still one of the better deals given for free. As someone who uses it as an apartment security feature, rather than surveillance style security, this works out best. However it does prevent you in using more than 4 cameras per hub. The arlo system integrates well with Alexa, which was my main focuses of buying arlo. Third party programs like Stringify also works with Arlo and Alexa, allowing for voice command arming. The initial itself is easy. The hub is plug and go, and recognizing new cameras is as easy as pairing Bluetooth. Battery usage is very good, and lasts months without needing a recharge. The Arlo app itself is easy to use, allows for audio both ways, and allows for a 5 minute livestream before stopping to save battery. Which can always just be restarted. The arlo website works exactly like the app, which makes just as easy to understand. The problems (and why it gets 4/5): The wall mounts that come free with the 4pack+hub are 4 magnetic wall mounts + 1 "outdoor" wall mount. These are sub-par at best. The magnetic wall mounts look simple, but after installation they move around and sometimes fall off. They are simple wall mounts with a slot in the back to hold on to a screw driven into the wall. It’s not effective, and the only way to really make it work (and it even tells you in their official video) is to stick it to the wall with double stick tape as you mount it to the wall with the screw sticking out. The "outdoor" wall mount is much better, but it doesn't have an anti-theft option. The camera can still be screwed out of its base, and at 150+ for a new camera, it’s a bit expensive. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase as it does what I wanted it to do. A DIY security system that integrates very well with my amazon Alexa.

Upgraded from Arlo HD to Arlo Pro. Could not be more impressed. The video quality is awesome and you can hear everything not just see and it's a 2way talk, rechargeable batterie. Like it very much.

Had to readjust cameras several times before getting the best view. Picture and sound comes through very clear. This model has a wider lens for viewing, 130° angle so do not need extra cameras.

Easy to setup. Small and discreet so it can be mounted out of sight. Battery lasts for months without recharging. Easy to access via phone or computer. Note: Must Have WiFi for this camera to work.

I had a Kotex system that had a separate DVR that connected the cameras with wires. The quality was terrible. These camera have exceeded my expectations with quality and frame rate. I have a couple gripes. Even if you turn off the microphone it still will notify you of sounds. Second, the cameras don't seem to record on ever motion notice. Not sure if it needs to be a sustained motion or if the app isn't doing its job. I set this up with smart things and it seems to have better control of the system when doing this.

I recently purchased 2 arlo pro cameras and I have been very pleased with the quality of the photo day and night, the easiness of the app and how I am able to control them from anywhere I am at anytime. I also Like that the app records when there is motion and holds the video for 7 days for free.

Installed the Arlo Pro at home. Setup was easy, connected to the wireless right away, and the phone app is pretty slick.

The Arlo Pro works great even in the cold. I like the ability to change various settings. Images are clear and you can pinch zoom on your phone. We are very happy with the quality of the cameras.

Great system to own. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5star is because once the motion detector goes off there is a long gap between when it goes off and when you can view it or interact with the person. But a great product.
