After months and months of research, I finally landed on the Arlo camera system. My only worry was the data usage (my local internet is not unlimited). Thankfully, the Arlo system allows you to set it up to achieve the camera coverage I wanted without 24/7 streaming. The app let me set up monitoring and recording only on the cameras I wanted and only when there was motion. It was a breeze to install and has been very intuitive to use. I wish the app had a little more capability, (running different processes for different cameras and using geo alarm with two different devices), but I’m sure I’ll see that in future updates.

This is my first experience with security cameras and I've been very impressed. Super easy to get the system going through the app and very easy to set up outside. Battery life great

We upgraded from our original Arlo Wireless system. The new Arlo pro was easily installed after removing the old system. We were easily able to add the new Pro cameras as well as add some of our our cameras from the original system. As for the new Pro cameras, they work well. There is still a lag or delay time in recording. The sound is definitely on delay and could use improvement. We are still pleased with the system and it was reassuring to be able to check our home when we were miles away.

These cameras were recommended to me by several people. I am so glad that I purchased these cameras. They record & keep weekly for free. You don’t have to purchase any additional monthly or yearly service for recording however arlo does offer an additional add on service( if u want additional recording features but the basic free works just as well) The cameras pick up every motion. The motion may be very slightly delayed but even if you miss something it records. I will definitely be recommending these. They are affordable & unlike Ring they record & store weekly free of charge

But awesome quality. Fear of being stolen is obviously an issue for homes that have low ceilings. But overall, great quality.

Works great & has a motion sensor I like to use it to see when a package has arrive & is on my porch.

Still working on the ap to a droid,,, a little confusing for someone with no experience...my daughter recommended this for us,,, a little pricy but has a good pic and we love seeing all around our property...

These cameras are amazing and do a really good job detecting activity. They are completely wireless and that what I like the most about it. Installation took 5 minutes.

Love this camera system. Clear, crisp pictures. So easy to set up, even my husband & I can do it and we aren't tech savy people. Feel safer having this system.

Bought this cause I had a trailer stolen and couldn’t do anything to help the police find it. If anything happens in the future i might have some info to go with. (Plate number, picture or vehicle description

The camera gives a clear picture, the wifi connection works well and easy to set up. The motion goes off and I can't tell why.

I returned the camera, but at the time I was using my Apple Extreme with Apple extenders for wifi, I have upgraded to Google Mesh and I think this camera would work well, but I do not have it to try out now.

Great system, easy set up, and good video quality. Easy access from my phone and battery life is good (if you tweak the motion sensitivity down a bit).

If you are looking for a security system without the monthly fee, this is it. The cameras do what they are suppose to do. The app works great. Very happy with purchase. Only issue, I just wish that they would reach a little further away from the base station for a large property.

The cameras are great and very easy to install. The zoom isn't a true zoom and will not be 1080p on the live view. The battery life is pretty good, but it depends on your settings. I get about 2 months of life before I have to recharge them I have it on the standard settings of record on motion/audio for 5 seconds. I have two big dogs that run around the house when I am not home, so I didn't expect the batteries to last 6 months due to the amount of activity. The app is really good and easy to use.

Would like to see farther range on motion detection. Hardware is only for in house of mounting bracket I had outside locations and tech was trying to use hollow wall anchors, so I provided necessary screws.

I overall love the cameras. Generally trouble free, and the wireless setup is outstanding. But, sometimes they react slowly when alerting phone (even on same wifi network), and catch only the tail end of the action. I've reset the hub, and reinstalled the app, as well as reset my (new) router. It helped a tad, but I believe a firmware update is the only thing that'll do it. Magnetic mounts are awesome, although you need to mount them high, to avoid theft. Overall I'm very happy, and would recommend.

I replaced my Samsung wi-fi cameras with this new Arlo Pro setup. I am very pleased. It's easy to use, the video definition is good and the free cloud storage is a nice upgrade.
