The picture is nice and clear. I just purchased and haven't played around with all the options yet but I wish it would record a little longer than 10 seconds. Which it might and I haven't figured it out yet

I had Ring StickUp and liked them but Ring requires you pay for basic service and does not have the ability to save video straight to a external drive. Both things that the Arlo has solved. Basic service is free and you can add a USB drive to the base and it records locally.

After reading many reviews, I purchased the Arlo Pro. Setting up the system was quick and painless. Installing the cameras required my replacing the furnished screws, as they all stripped out easily. Got the cameras installed and tested the system. I found that the delay in the camera starting as well as getting video, combined with the 10 second limit, made the system not useful to me. I tried to find out how to extend the video time, and came up with nothing. I returned the system for a refund.

The system was easy to set up. I would give it 5 stars if the reaction time to activate the cameras was faster. You miss some of the action at the beginning of a person entering the camera's field of view.

We love this monitoring system, we aren't forced to keep our camera locations and positions stationary! We have used them as baby monitors when the baby naps and even to keep an eye on our new puppy for the first few nights home. They charge quickly and the batteries are VERY long lasting in my opinion. Would recommend to anyone. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is that we really wish there would be a dual charging station of some sort but besides that great buy

After researching different cameras I went with these. Very happy with results. Easy to set up right from box. Took about 1 hour to get all synced, placed and able to see pictures. Only thing is the alarm horn. Still not sure how to implement this, but not a big deal to me.

Very easy to install and setup, but limited on picking up someone moving fast. The cameras won't pick up the FedEx guy but will show the new package at door.

These cameras were very easy to install and set up. They give a 10 second video when activatedo by motion. Batteries last 6 to 12 weeks depending on how much recording it does.

The cameras were relatively easy to set up and install. The picture was very clear and they worked well. Where this failed for me was the sensitivity adjustment. I would have liked to enable zones to ignore or focus on. I had too much stuff in the whole view of the cameras to make motion notifications occur constantly.

Great system and easy to set up and use. I use this to monitor my house while I travel. The cameras have a good battery life.

I like the system it is flexible and does not require a cost to be backup videos to the cloud (7 days) but the system allows one to add a backup drive. I started with 2 cameras and like them so well I added a third with solar charger to one and direct charging to the other with the battery as a backup. Good quality camera, Audio is need work 9mostly if you are trying to speak to someone on the camera is weak. Otherwise a good buy compared to other productsI looked at.

We are pleased with our Arlo Pro system overall. We have had issues with the base station and the camera battery, so I do recommend purchasing the 2 year replacement warranty. The battery life drains somewhat faster than we expected but charges fairly quickly. We considered purchasing the solar chargers, but the reviews do not justify taking a chance for the price of them. So we just continue to take them down and charge them. Overall the performance is good.

Easy to install, nice video quality. No monthly fee unless using more than five cameras.

I tried setting the system up in two different locations, work and later at home. Both times I had the cameras running in matter of minutes. Currently, the seven days of cloud storage is free and the android app works well allowing me to view the video anywhere. The cameras are fairly wide angle, and sometimes it is hard to see details of people approaching the house at distance. Night vision works well and have caught a lot nocturnal night life around the house.

The setup for these cameras could not have been easier. The video is crystal clear and I have had these cameras for over a month and have not had to recharge the batteries yet.

This security system is completely wireless. It makes it easy to put anywhere you would like. If you put them outside, make sure that they are high enough so that no one can remove them. The wide angle is great. Night view is pretty good. Overall I’m very happy with them.

I will be honest... I had planned on getting up into the attic and pulling ethernet cable to run hikvision/amcrest POE cams but the effort required in doing all of that AND getting the cameras setup to record to my PC AND making sure my wife could easily access the feeds whenever she wanted just seemed not worth it when we saw the arlo pro cameras released. I was hesitant at first after reading the original arlo reviews but it looks like netgear listened and the pro cameras seem to fix all the quirks of the first arlo cameras. The delay between when movement is detected and video starts is much improved. The app and web interface are ridiculously granular in the ways you can setup scheduling, geofencing, sensitivity, etc... nearly anything you can think of can be done and it's done on a per-camera basis, not just a blanket rule applied to the entire setup. ex: if you want your front door camera to alert you 24/7 but only need an interior cam to give alerts when you and your wife's phones have left the geofenced area... you can do that. if you want your backdoor cam to increase sensitivity and recording duration when it's night time you can do that. Unrelated to operation... the cameras and the base station are, in the words of my wife, "cute" and unlike a lot of other outdoor camera setups. I do wish the security mounts were a little less expensive ($20 each! oof!) since I do not feel comfortable using the magnetic mounts outside where someone could hit the camera with a rock, or even a hail storm or something similar could knock one of the cameras down. Rechargeable batteries are much appreciated as well compared to the odd CR123 batteries of the non-pro models. The front door cam has been up for over a month and is triggered at least 4 times a day when my wife and I leave and then come back to work and the battery is still at almost 90%, so the capacity seems very adequate. Happy with the purchase so far!

Relatively easy setup for my programmer son. Worked until the temps dropped, but started again after temps went up. In my research, no product withstood CO temps below about 14 that I recall. I get "push notifications" to my phone, which I like. Simple and available. Customer service by email was helpful and rapid, within 8 hours on a holiday. Pleased, with a few kinks to work out on my iphone.

Just upgraded from the standard camera and these not only have sound but a better picture and rechargeable batteries!
