1. Impossible to manage and access your cameras without Netgear/Arlo website. Cameras are already in my network. Why would I need some third party to be involved? In my summer house I have network but no or shaky internet access and I cannot access camera next to me. Why? Obviously Arlo base station has some web interface but it is hidden by Netgear marketing ‘geniuses’ to lure you into Netgear cloud. Cloud access and storage might be a good option. But it should be just an option! It should not be a must! Cameras are unusable for me. Returned. 2. Picture quality is really bad. I am pretty sure it is bad for the same reason. Netgear is forcing you to use/become dependent on their cloud on one hand on other hand trying to save on space and traffic to their cloud. So they compress video so heavily that it loses quality significantly. Why? I would feel much better without cloud but with less compression/better quality on my local storage. 3. Motion detection is bad. It starts recording several seconds after motion started, so usually “the interesting part” is gone even before recording starts. Recordings randomly last 6, 10 or 16 seconds and they stop even if motion continues, thus leaving behind the scene “another interesting part”. 4. HD resolution is misleading. Netgear/Arlo claims it is an HD camera and never specify resolution in numbers. These days when someone says “HD” you would expect 1080p. Though technically 720p is HD too. They confused even Best Buy itself. Because Best Buy advertise it as 1080p. (I have photo of Best Buy shelve with production made (not hand written) label 1080p for Arlo Pro cameras).

Wanted security system that was easy to install and use. Cameras and battery are great, software could be updated.

We have no issues with Arlo. Works as advertised. We have two cameras and both do what we need. Motion and sound. Never looses connection, and crystal clear video.

We bought this to keep tabs on my son who has seizures. So easy to set up! Picture quality is great. Love that these have microphones as well.

Purchased this set to augment existing Arlo system because with the sale it was almost as cheap as buying two additional cameras. Have used Arlo cameras for about 4 years total now due to issue with people living next door and the video and sound quality have been very beneficial in dealing with law enforcement and state agencies.

Wonderful camera video. Can see very clear images. Very easy to turn cameras on or off remotely. Only reason not a 5 star is the learning curve for how to sync a camera and learning the app. Should be some instruction with the purchase and should not have to search the internet for answers. Also, when you talk through the camera, the app doesn't allow you to hear anymore until you log out and reopen the app. Other than that, app is very easy to navigate.

This was so easy for me to set up and install. The quality of the pictures are great. I like knowing what or who is around my home when I am away.

Really decent audio and video quality. Highly recommend installing outside as any screens will cause a reflection and or worse a distortion. Tip: install a USB to increase the storage capability. Have had good results with this, very happy with it and will purchase a few additional cameras to broaden my network. Plus you can mess with your cat with the speaker function...lol.. just kidding. The speaker does work well. Startled more than one delivery person.

Overall, I really like the Arlo Pro Camera System. The magnetic camera mounts are genius. Setup is fairly easy. One of my four cameras would connect, work properly for a brief period, but kept dropping offline. I did extensive trouble shooting and ended up calling Arlo support. They replaced the camera and I haven't had any issues since. The thing that needs improving is timely alerts. There are instances when the email alert doesn't get to my phone in a timely basis.

We've had a couple car prowls over the last year so we bought a two camera Arlo system. One camera covers the front door and the other covers the driveway. The system is pretty easy to setup and works decent. I created a custom mode and set the motion to 100%. I'm giving 4 stars because the motion detection is just ok. I notice when people walk on the sidewalk in front of our house, sometimes the camera starts recording right before they exit the frame.

I found out about Arlo plus through my uncle. At first, I thought he was full off s**t, but the more I looked into it I changed my mind about it. I went out and got the Arlo Plus, the four camera system. It we easy to set up and I'm having a blast with it.

Great product and easy to use. No monthly fee needed so saves money. A little up front and savings later. Picture and audio are terrific.

The Arlo system was extremely easy to set up. It has great video quality. Only hesitation is that we can't program the cameras to operate on different schedules.

The pictures/videos from the camera are very clear! The batteries are long lasting, 2 months after purchase we still haven’t had to charge them!

Our Arlo Security Cameras give us peace of mind and the videos are sharp and clear. Solar panels are an added plus so we don't have to charge the batteries.

These cameras are very clear and really capture any movements. They also pick up sound so I hear the birds chirping early in the morning.

I bought this system for several reasons. Easy to install and it’s wireless. Great picture and sound. Works well at night. All around satisfied.
