Pictures are dark without spotlight on. Spotlight scares animal off. Pictures are very dark

I purchased a three (3) camera system with base station and with the exception of one (1) camera not able to sync and register this was a phenomenal buy. I will have to contact them to either ask for help in registering the 3rd camera or get a replacement a.s.a.p.

The only thing that I would change is I would like if the mount allowed a little more range to aim the cameras.

Don't buy this unless you want to also buy a subscription to view the videos in the cloud! The camera is fine, but once the trial expires for Arlo Smart, you have to buy a subscription to have videos recorded and available in the cloud. That was NOT obvious when I bought this device. I have four older Arlo cameras, each of them will record to the cloud for FREE. BUT NOT THE NEW ONE! Super disappointed.

Very easy to get up and running, wireless, convenient

Piece of junk, have to charge the batteries every 3 days. Switching to Blink.

The pro 4 is a better step up from the essential Arlo, with more features that I didn’t expect to see. Advance package detection? That’s what I needed, as I constantly order and the detection of packages from person is a great feature.

Works great in combination with Arlo Secure. Pleased wit the functionality and alerting so far.

I purchased the Arlo 2 system with “lifetime use” of the cloud. But they screwed us , a change in policy! Too expensive for the monthly mandatory fees.

Do not buy these cameras unless you are aware you have to pay a monthly subscription after the 90 day trial. Arlo claims they have local usb storage, however the feature is essentially useless. You cannot access the videos from the app or remotely. Waste of money. I should have kept my cheaper cloud storage cameras... They also buffer and are about 3 second delayed.

Worthless customer service. The cameras constantly drop offline and it’s a nightmare to get them to pair again. The result, two smashed cameras. If I would have known how inconsistent these cameras were, I would have paid a Security company to install a direct wire system. These work for a little while, but then they quit. If the power flickers or the internet goes down, the cameras or base station doesn’t automatically connect when it comes back on. Therefore, you have to go around manually re-pairing all of your cameras. So if you’re out of town, your cameras are off until you get back to set them back up. Total pain in the butt.

Wondwrful for monitoring premises. Great that permission can be given to another to help with the monitoring. The feature of sounding the alarm is awesome and emergency response team can be alerted.

So far the cameras are great! But there is a few second delay in the video while watching live. Not enough to have a bad review or complaint but just not enough for a perfect 5 stars.

Arlo is the best among the several security cameras I've put serious time into. Their optics have greater clarity. Their software is more user friendly. Their support is both knowledgeable and easily accessible.

I would like the option to drop in a speak directly to the person in front of the camera.

My mom and godparents recommended me Arlo, best cameras ever, it notifies you when a person, animal, or vehicle is near, I will keep buying more Arlo products. You won’t regret getting these cameras.

I just wish I could control the spotlight settings.

If using outside u have to have extra light in order for it to be a good view
