    Do not get this Arlo Camera

    Bought this and the solar panel to charge it. Using it to birdwatching . Set it up next to my feeder, hooked on the solar panel, charged the battery first. The unit completely discharges after 24 hours and keeping the solar panel plugged in does not provide enough charge to replenish the battery.

    Battery runs out very fast and I haven't really figured out how to use it the right way. Maybe my street is too busy and I pick up too many people.

    I had older version and I loved these new ones and specifically in color black there not visible color blend with my wall

    Got these when they went on sale and saved almost $200. These are great security cameras. I have 6 of them now.

    Camera works well but battery life is much less than stated and sometimes the motion sensor doesn’t track people/objects early enough or long enough.

    Not worth it! I bought nine cameras. Most of them don't work and the TotalTech service from BestBuy can't fix it. They are installed outdoors but don't work when it's cold. One camera does not work at all, another one does not save clips and another one says it needs new battery although it's connected to a power outlet that has power. One just died after a power outage and I can't get it to work again.

    Product works as expected. App is more challenging to use in terms of turning on the camera and then arming the camera which are separate functions

    The batteries are weak and will be discharged in less than a week. Bought a solar panal for the camera to help with the charging and guess what? not a full 24hrs later and the batter is at 45%. Imagen climbing up and down the latter to charge the batteries every couple days. Do not buy

    The spotlight does not put off enough light to see good at night, daytime the pic is great.

    One of the camera just completely stopped working after 1 year. And battery life is only a week not 6 monthes like advertised

    Worked fine at first. Used only one of the cameras and only opened a battery pack out of the bag to charge as the current one got low. One cycle through all the batteries and they all won't hold a charge for more than a day. Bought a second set of batteries and they had the same issue so I think it's the cameras. Don't recommend.

    no matter what I do I can't have them record anything, only live video, tech support tried but they couldn't make it record, just go with NEST, way better

    Would have given 5star rating if it wasn't for the setup process for the hub glitching out and not working. We did finally get it but it was a process.

    I would not recommend. 2 out of the 3 cameras battery life last about a week not the 6 months that they claim. I swapped the batteries out to see if it was a bad battery but it was not the battery. Arlo Pro4 are defective devices. One star for the one camera that has an average battery life about a month. I guess that's better than the other two. Thumbs down to the quality of the devices.

      Thank you for sharing your Arlo Pro 4 experience. The Arlo Pro 4 camera batteries last approximately 3–6 months with average use. Average use assumes that you are using Optimized or Best Battery Life video settings and that your cameras record for approximately five minutes per day. The following environmental factors also reduce battery life: 1) Temperatures below 32°F (0°C) 2) Low-light environments that require infrared sensors to work harder and 3) Weak connection to the base station/router.
