    I wish I would have purchased Ring. These start recording way after something moves, so you never really see what is going on. The software is HORRIBLE. Now, even though they armed, it sends messages that there was movement, etc., but there no recordings at all. Whether the software is that quirky or it's a complicated setting, I don't have time to fool with it. Just buy someting that works right out of the box. I see why people have chosen Ring of this no name brand.

      Thank you for your review. If your camera begins go record motion too late, it may have to due with camera positioning. Please read this article for details on how to position your cameras for optimal use and motion detection: https://kb.arlo.com/37.

    I have to give this a 1 star rating because Arlo now forces you to pay a monthly subscription to have any recording capabilities on the Pro 3/4. My Pro 2 records upon motion and stores it for 7 days for free. This is no longer the case for the Pro 3/4. I was ok with paying $9.99/m for continuous recording for one camera, but now I have to pay another $9.99/m just so I can be notified and record after motion on my 2 newest cameras. What a terrible idea.

    Horrible. Don’t buyer products

    Arlo customer service is horrible. Product is not reliable. My old Arlo WiFi package worked great. No subscription. No problem. They go figured out how to basically make those inoperable and you have to now get a subscription. Crooked and awful company. Run.

    If i could I would give 0 rating. These Pro 4 cameras will not record unless you buy ARLO’s service plan. Of course, that is not stated on any of the advertisements. I will be returning this system and will never purchase another ARLO item .
