Not compatible to our wifi need to be 2.4 gigabytes.

I just ordered 2 days ago and even since then the price dropped, very telling. Arrived today and set up was easy but the prdicur is garbage the live screen doesnt refresh. A sketch artist woukd ve faster. Wfi strength is fine. Bitterly disappointed and will send back for nest or something wlse.

Purchased this combo to replace my arlo 2 camers and hub. it was on sale and that helped. setup was pretty straight forward. i did learn the unit has to be fully assembled and charged or it wont scan the qr code during setup. i will be purchasing the plan as required for these cameras. i have 2 installed and am working through some issues on the 3rd camera, but otherwise i am very happy.

They make this trash so hard to connect to wifi, come on guys! You can do better

I was really hoping this camera would be better than the XL Essential, but needless to say.. Its much worse. By the time this camera alerts you that someone has pulled up they're already at the door... Its a major delay in the alerting you.. It takes forever for the camera to load as well... Very disappointed... Definitely not worth the price they charge for these cameras..

Sometimes takes up to 15 minutes for a video to be available after I get the notification that I have one.

The Arlo Pro 4 security camera is solidly built and offers a twist - it is truly, completely wireless. Featuring WiFi connectivity and a rechargeable battery that boasts 6 months of battery life(!) the unit can be mounted without regard to network wiring or available power outlets. The mount is also novel; the two piece assembly features a wall mount base with an incredibly strong magnet that connects to the camera body. This has two major advantages - you can point the camera quickly and easily in almost any direction and it is easy to unmount the unit for charging. The feature set is rich and comprehensive. The video quality is very good and even though the viewing angle is fairly wide the fish-eye effect has been minimized. Although the camera can stand alone it's advanced features come into play with a subscription to the "Arlo Smart" service. A three month trial is included. A couple of quick notes - the Arlo App is pretty good although trying to make out details on a smartphone screen can be challenging. One VERY important item is that this device will ONLY connect to a 2.4GHz network. Make sure to change your phone over to the appropriate SSID before you try installing the product. Your frustration level will grow rapidly if you miss this requirement. Overall the product exceeded my expectations and I would recommend you to put it on your short-list if you are looking for security products.

These cameras are so very easy to setup and connect to the app on your phone. So long as you have internet service or I'm going to use a MiFi these cameras are super easy to setup. The picture quality and sound quality are great. They have a really secure waterproof seal around the camera so that they look like they will stand up well to outdoor use. I am looking to find an extra security cable to attach to the camera to add a layer to prevent someone from easily ripping them off.

Two different times i had at least one or two that wouldn't connect.

It offers a lot: spotlight, motion detector, wide range of view, 2k resolution, ability to see at night, ability to hear and speak with anyone near the camera, and ease of installation.

I purchased thinking they were top of the line cameras, and needed something wireless for my application. So I chose these to install at my home. If it catches Motion, it does sometimes catch it, maybe, but it’s delayed by quite sometime. For the width view of them, that is great, and picture quality day and night are good. The cameras shut off when you close the app on your phone, and doesn’t run 24/7. You have to start the cameras each time you open the app. I got notification of a UPS delivery. It caught the truck after it parked, but didn’t record nothing of the driver on my sidewalk or porch at all. Guess they’re good for bird/critter watching. But for security, I don’t recommend. I got the 3 pack cameras, I had a hard time pairing and getting the 3rd camera to work. It still works when it wants too. I had Swann brand before, but they became defective after a few years. I would return if Best Buy would accept and not charge a restocking fee. So they’ll probably end up on Facebook Marketplace

Bought these online, they were a gif for a pit of state wedding. The website said they would be delivered the next day. They did not arrive on time, has to go to the store to purchase similar cameras. Best Buy’s return policy is 15 days, we got back on day 16 so now we’re stuck with the cameras.

The battery doesnt last long. If you have heavy traffic not worth it.

New Arlo cameras are junk compared to the ones I bought 4 years ago...find a different brand of camera. Alao, Best Buy staff does know this product, so its a waste of time getting technical help or just answering simple questions the seller should know!

This is my first time buying security cameras and I am not disappointed. These cameras are easy to install, provide reasonable video quality, and the app gives you so many options to fine tune each camera separately. It can easily detect people and vehicles 30’+ away which is great. I did have to turn on the audio detection to help with that and I also played with the sensitivity. I feel like the app works fairly well. You definitely have a lot of options (subscription or SmartHub required) to fine tune each device. Its really simple to use. I will need to buy the SmartHub at some point because if the WIFI is down, so are the cameras. I plan to buy a couple more cameras too, they perform great. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for security cameras.

Cameras are decent and sett up is easy. I purchased the 20 charging cables so I don't have to climb ladders to pull dead batteries that died 10 minutes before my car got broken into. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the clunky app but hopefully with a couple upgrades it will be better. It is subscription based

Arlo cameras were easy to install. Adequate picture quality. One battery did not keep the charge after first charge- just changed it so we’ll see if remains charged this time. I would like a longer trial period for the Arlo subscription. One month is not sufficient time to know if a subscription is worth the cost.

I've had the cameras for a week- crisp picture, great motion detection, but have had a few unexplained glitches - one drained a fully charged battery in a day despite being in a place where little motion happened and one inexplicably went offline despite there being strong wifi and full battery. easily reset but these periodic issues lead me to deduct a star.

Do not purchase if you have been a loyal Arlo customer and expect the same 7 day free recordings as on older cameras. You MUST buy a subscription or another hub, which should be displayed in bold print!!!

Bought product on Black Friday and received it by Wednesday. Set up wasn’t the greatest with very minimal instructions, took half a day to set everything up. After downloading the app camera must be set up one by one. Video quality is great and play back feature is awesome. Battery life doesn’t last long if your notifications are always on. First battery died within 3 days. No real way to save on battery life except by turning the camera off if you absolutely don’t need it on!!!
