I recently upgraded my cameras as my other Arlo cameras were over 5 years old. I am happy I got a newer system as the cameras are better and it’s so much easier to change the batteries.

Very easy to install and set up, really like the ease of charging and exchanging batteries. The video is clear too

Purchased three cameras to provide extra security around the home. Easy to install and setup detection zones. Purchased solar panel for highest placed camera as I did not want to drag out ladder to replace battery every six months or so.... Thoroughly pleased with purchase so far....

I have multiple arlo cameras of different models (essential and pros) and this one has the best picture quality by far. The picture is very clear and is easy to make out smaller details also responds to motion very well with clear movements. I like arlo's removable batteries making it very easy to change with the proper charger, however this model has a different battery from my other models so need a new charger for it. I also really like the spotlight I find it to be a very nice feature. I would highly recommend this camera you won't be disappointed with the quality.

easy install, just download the app to your smart phone and put the cameras where you want them. Great video quality.

Easy set up outside and on cell phone. Did the outdoor set up myself. Just started using the system so I haven't figured out all the bells and whistles just yet. That being said it seems like a good system. It captures a wide area so have great coverage of entire front yard, side of house and driveway. I am happy that I got this system

This camera in my research and experience has the best camera quality and smart home experience you can enjoy! The only set-back, is the battery life is very short (only a few days) if you want any of the desired camera features. If it can be wired, then it’s awesome. 100% recommended

Cameras are working great and, provides us with a sense of security. We will now be able to travel knowing that we can check on our home wherever we are.

I’ve had older Arlo cameras for a few years and just added the arlo 4’s. The camera quality is so good and even at night. The app is super easy to use and I feel very secure.

The image on these cameras is fantastic. Unfortunately, even when they display full bars they can take an extended period of time to connect and give you an image. This can be frustrating when you’re answering the door.

The Pro 4 has a very sleek look and is overall appealing to the eye. Picture quality is great and so is the audio. There is a pretty significant lag, about 20 seconds which puts a damper to the quality of the camera. Overall pleased though.

Don't like that camera's go off line every now an then, but all in all there great camera's .

Arlo’s wireless camera Pro 4 works as advertised. Simply amazing, great battery life, clear video, prompt alerts! Best thing I’ve purchased so far this year.

May be me,but what should be a really really simple install process is still ongoing.A lot of difficulty getting devices paired,synced,updated.Bpught this because of wireless connectivity.A LOT of back and forth with customer support so far.I loved my Pro 2 but things should be easier once already established with an account.

Pro4 cameras really are the best for your home. they look great, work even better, and when we got the subscription service, the whole family loves loves it. Arlo is the best!

If you really want to see license plates at any kind of distance, this 2k camera isn't good enough. And there's a good 10-15 second lag time even if your camera is within a few feet of a router with fast internet, even if there's nothing but glass in between. Solar panels don't recharge the battery if the outdoor temp is under 32°F but they don't tell you that in any up front place when you look at the product info for the panel - not a fault of the camera itself. Finally, if you are installing this at a business, there is no option to mute notifications for 8 hours - you have to choose between 3 (or less) and 24 hours. What a PITA! On the other hand, with the use of solar panels, this is a truly wireless option that won't cost you 2-3 months of mortgage payments. It has an option for 2-way audio and the siren is very loud. Basically, it doesn't suck, and if you go in knowing it has some 'cons' you'll be all right.

I purchased an Arlo Pro 4 after some research into home security cameras. It had all the features I desired in a security camera and it was very reasonably priced. I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. It’s intuitive, easy to set up, has great picture quality, and the subscription plan for the extra features is at a great price point below all the other competitors. I definitely recommend the Arlo Pro 4 camera to those who are looking for a great home security camera.

The cameras were really easy to setup and so was the app. The only problem is the “pet” mode doesn’t work. Our neighbors have cats and they are constantly setting off the cameras. We have only had them for a week so we will see how the battery life is.

I love my cameras. I love being able to view all activity on my phone while I’m away. Having these cameras give me a sense of peace while feeling safe!

I have 3 (Arlo3) indoor cameras and 2 outdoor cameras at my retirement home which is 2000 miles from where I am now. One gets loads of false notifications. Moths, spider webs, reflected light from a passing car, and raindrops falling on the lens are interpreted as "person detection, animal detection, or motion detection. The camera cannot tell the difference between a person and a raindrop. The recognition software is very primitive--almost useless. Moreover, it used to be that I could call up Arlo to get advice. Now there is NO MORE PERSON TO PERSON TECHNICAL SUPPORT unless you upgrade to a much more expensive coverage plan. Overall, be careful how this company ropes you in. The only reason I gave this 2-star instead of one star is that the cameras provide a pretty good image and let you see what is happening. However, the 2k facial image is not great, it is just better than nothing.
