    Great video quality, clear audio. One of my batteries died in less than a week and it was fully charged. Gonna have to check why

    Camera’s battery life falls off in cold. Viewing camera in real time, on demand is hit or miss; 80% of the time I have to reboot the Hub in order to see live stream from cameras. Upside, easy to install. Hub helps you avoid their subscription service (but it is lousy) Avoid Arlo products. Not great.

    I really love the camera I think the quality of the image and range it covers is really impressive. However, there is a 15-20 second delay with real-time. I am using this as a security camera outside my home and I want to know the moment when someone arrives at my door, 20 seconds is a lot of time if there was an emergency. I also wish there was a text option for alerts, or a way to change the push notification noise in settings if I wanted the alert to wake me up in the middle of the night.

    I love this camera (and all the Arlo cameras I own). I have The origins Arlo, Arlo Pro, and now Arlo Pro 4. I just feel so much safer with these in my home and property. The quality is great, the immediate access to viewing live on your phone, and the portability. Plus having the charger is nice and not having to replace batteries.

    The camera works great but the time it takes to connect to the camera i atrocious. It takes almost 10 seconds usually to connect and then the feed it self is lagged behind by about 10 seconds.

      Please note the distance between your Arlo Pro 4 camera and the Arlo SmartHub/base station or router can affect the live stream delay. Additionally, to troubleshoot problems with live streaming, please refer to: https://kb.arlo.com/1124

    Best System for My Home

    Love my new Arlo Pro 4 security system. Cameras were easy to activate and install. Video, even at night, is clear and discerning between animals and motion. Cameras are simple to charge too. Love the 160 degree field range as well. Very pleased with purchase and highly recommended!

    Have had the Pro4 for about two weeks now. They’re amazing, but I’m navigating a random “static” sound issue with both cameras. Arlo is currently troubleshooting with me, but no luck yet.

    Has everything we were looking for! Picture quality is good too! Only downside is the battery life doesn’t last long. Going to get a solar panel for it soon.

    This rating is for Arlo Cameras as Security Devices. For other uses, they may be fine, but understand what you are getting when you buy these expensive cameras. First of all, I have tried nearly EVERY iteration of Arlo Branded Cameras and RETURNED them all. WHY? Because they are NOT good for security. Imagine someone walks up to your door, and steals a package? When you resort to the captured video, all you see is the perpetrator’s back, due to SEVERE DELAY in conveying the footage to your storage. In short, these cameras are “reactive” to movement, and therefore the LAG in when the actual footage is recorded is invariably TOO LATE to be of any value as valuable seconds go by while a crime is being committed (which again, is missed in the recordings due to this severe lag). Understand that for other more casual use, these may serve you well (assuming the batteries last more than 2 days), but please do not consider them for actual security as you will likely be disappointed should you ever need to refer to your recorded surveillance content. If you do buy the battery operated units, do expect to spend countless dollars on batteries. IF any way possible, buy a plug in adapter for the “wireless” units.

    So far, I have been able to rest easier knowing that these cameras capture everything! Images are clear, sound is amazing and love that when the spotlight turns on, it records in color at night! Amazing wide lens coverage. Batteries do run out quickly depending on settings. Recommend getting the solar panel.
