Easy set-up, amazing quality picture, sound, zoom, auto tracking, etc

Think twice before buying any product from Arlo. They used to be OK (their motion detection was always dodgy at best) but in October they discontinued the email alerts you would get whenever motion did trigger the cameras. You would receive an email alert with a picture and a link to a video so you could quickly tell if you had a problem or if it was a false alarm. They say they have discontinued this email service to lower their costs, but they are perfectly willing to constantly spam your inbox with emails urging you to buy even more of their products. They also did this without notifying anyone (except for rushing up an "End of Life Policy" statement and a small notice on an obscure section of their message forum). Without the email alerts Arlo cameras are useless. So be aware that any features you are buying the product for now may not be available in the future if they decide they would rather improve their bottom line than supply a service that their customers paid for.

The Pro 4 is, in most respects, a very good outdoor security camera. But, there are some things that could be improved upon. Most importantly, it currently connects via 2.4 GHz. This needs to be upgraded to 5.0.

Once you figure out where you want the cameras, it only takes a few minutes. Three mounting screws for each camera (and another three for each solar panel, if using). You aim the cameras while monitoring the image on your phone, live, so you can get it right the first try. This is our first time setting up and using cameras, and we’re delighted.

I’m very impressed with the camera quality, I have had mine up for a week. And it’s been doing amazing. Though I have notice the speakers on it can be spotty and not clear. But the image is clear and app is handy.

We recently purchased the Arlo pro for security cameras. They were installed by the tech team in the process was seamless. After one day we decided that we wanted to change the location of one of the cameras and it was extremely easy to remove and set up in another location. The display is excellent and the versatility to choose in settings what type of surveillance you want is very helpful.

Arlo has really improved their tech over the years. This camera improves upon the first models, which I have and they are still working also. Great viewing angle, spotlight is nice, and I really appreciate that I don't have to have a base station with the pro 4. So far the cameras have worked excellently. I will buy more of these if any of my older cameras die. The reason for purchase was expanding our network, not replacing cameras.

We upgraded from the Wyze camera system to the Arlo Pro 4. The Quality and sound of the cameras are amazing. Night is pretty good, I love the spotlight comes on at night not only to help see the video feed but also helps if your walking outside or as extra protection if someone comes into yard at night who shouldn’t be there. Over all great purchase and we are completely satisfied.

The camera has a good field of vision and video quality. They only issue I had is getting it to connect because google Wi-Fi forced my phone to the 5ghz network and the app couldn’t find the camera.

Great system! Very easy to install. Audio and video quality is very good. I'm having issues with fine tuning adjustments so it only alerts to activity within the Activity zones I set, and alerting to all sound and motion.

Very happy with the cameras. However, they don't like extremely cold weather. Around zero they'll go offline. Possibly drain a battery quickly in the process.
